Wow what a long wait for the fly wheel. So ridiculous. I think I will order some parts for my chain saw that I just bought because in two or three years something may break or I need parts. Great job with the repair and diagnosis. Thanks for the video's.
That is a good way to go about it especially if you have an older chainsaw because older chainsaws are getting harder and harder to get parts for and a lot of the companies that need those saws are no longer making those parts OEM so you have to get it from another source often times it’s either they’re not making it OEM or they’re outsourcing the part to another company to build because of their lack of space on their company line
I must have missed it, but why did it need replacing? Was it cracked or was the shear pin sheared? Thanks. I have the Husqvarna 440 and it will break your hand trying to pull the rope, so yes, a timing problem, and yes the pin built into the wheel is fairly beat up, so I assume timing alignment is off.
