I'm not the sharpest crayon in the box, but I have an edge. I know I can pump-down R22, but I didn't think I could do the same with 410A. There is a slight difference that could harm your system. What I always thought that sucked about the new 410A was the very fact that the refrigerant needed to be recovered only.I wish they would bring back R22. I still have a bottle and a half😔
If I want to check it's been done correctly when buying a used pumped down unit what pressure should show on gauges once pumped down and unit off the wall and not working.
There is no check you can do for that if it’s been disconnected. You just have to trust it and connect it and release the gas in line and check pressure that way
@@HowToDoitright cheers. a risky purchase then. A call to a regasser makes the cheap deal a disaster if not pumped down correctly. Kelvinator inverter 300AU. Cheapest no brand ones start from 650
