HVAC VRF System Heat Recovery 

HVAC VRF Heat recovery systems use branch selector boxes to direct refrigerant to the indoor fan coils. VRF Systems come in 2-pipe or 3-pipe configurations and can simultaneously heat and cool different rooms.
Each VRF branch selector box is rated for the maximum btu's that can be derived from any one port or from the total of all ports in a multi-port branch selector box.
Each VRF manufacture has a different name for the branch selector box as follows;
Mitsubishi VRF - BC Controller.
Toshiba VRF - Flow Selector Unit.
Fujitsu VRF - Refrigerant Branch Unit (RB)
Hitachi VRF - Change Over Box (COB)
Daikon VRV - Branch Selector Box
