Great video glad hwtuning did a fantastic job on it pal and now you in my opinion is the best pcp out there thanks for the mention really appreciate it
Why would a gun carrying HW name has to be tuned in order to shoot without dropping power? This is ridiculous, even pathetic!!!!!! Shame HW really shame
It seems that they aren't the company they once were. Worse, the importers - Hull Cartridge seem to be worse than useless. Look at all the airgun forums and they're littered with tales of returning 110's to HC which take many weeks to return them only for the same problem to re-appear shortly after. It's crazy that having spent a considerable wedge on a "quality" weapon, you're then forced to pay a 3rd party to fix it up. It's the last Weihrach I buy.
You didn’t mention , what the cost was to get it corrected, ? I was considering buying a 110 couple of wks ago , and this problem put me off so I bought a FX instead , cheers Shaneweightman
The 110 is a pain in the ...... The hammer adjuster isn't loctited so it slowly unwinds the more you use the gun. Common flaw and weihrauch still haven't done this to their new ones. The hw100 has a grub screw which holds the hammer position. No idea why they changed the mechanism for the 110.
Was looking at a hw110 when in the market for a PCP, glad I went for the air arms s410 now, maybe a bit more basic but they seem to not have so many issues that I've heard of. Who can't love a 410 in walnut anyway....despite the skinny barrel. 😂 Got a couple of weihrauch springers and tuning them is part n parcel of ownership like a classic car, bonnet had to be lifted more....
@@paperballandpentube I bet they are a gem once sorted, may end up with one too in a year or 3, I've recently got one of those chronographs like you reviewed too, it's possible on mine like some others said to select fps on turn on. Paid about £30 on ebay but it came from a UK seller with reasonable UK instructions so worth the little extra I think. Keep up the good work!!
A loss of 6% power over 6 months of not using it.. I would guess the lubricant on the hammer assembly had dried up or migrated a bit. They pack a fair bit of grease in them at the factory to ensure they don't deteriorate in storage. 90% of users won't notice, the 10% who do would have mechanical sympathy sufficient to expect a service - at least that's what I'd guess. Same goes for any complex mechanism..
Thanks Si. NVA is good thanks, I put it up for sale a couple of weeks back as not used it for a while, got back on it while the HW110 was in the shop though and now wondering if I should keep it as it's a good gun!
@@paperballandpentube All the reviews etc say great things about it and the price is fantastic plus there's a lot of customising and fettling to be done with it, the goal is to start a channel based around starting from scratch, having a near zero budget and what's possible.
Hi there, I’m looking into purchasing one of these beauties, where did you buy yours from as I notice it’s the model with black safety catch and mag release.
These are like gold dust at the moment due to Russian Import restrictions, I got mine 2nd hand, best bet is to contact Francisco at Edgun Spain who has a lawyer looking into the import situation so will be the first to know when we can get some more in the UK. Thanks for watching.
Sorry, I thought I 2as replying to another video, the Hw110 came from Derek Lee gun Smiths, they have a website and were the cheapest I found. Hope this helps.
Yeah no problem, I got it from the cheapest place I found, Derek Lee Gunsmiths in Lincolnshire, his website says he has got one the same as mine so good luck.
