Twit is such a great song, and has such an interesting story behind it. Hwasa wrote it based on her own love life, about a guy who she’d been dating who she felt was in love with her to the point of foolishness, that he only prioritised her and cared about her, while she was full of ambition and had so many things she wanted to achieve so she wasn’t prioritising him in the same way back. She realised she was the fool after they broke up because he genuinely loved her and she didn’t give him the time and energy he deserved. But tbh, as someone who has watched her friends be absolutely guilt ridden over not spending enough with their boyfriends because the man just has ZERO long-term goals outside being with her or even a hobby??? I know she regrets it but damn, breaking up with him was for the best.

You should react to the explanation of this song by DKDKTV; when you understand the meaning of the lyrics and the cultural background, it adds a lot of depth to the emotions that Hwasa goes through in the song.

I agree 100%. There a lot lot of symbolism in the lyrics and the video that can be missed if you don’t know it’s there. It’s actually a really sad song when you understand what she actually was saying in this song.
