Hyla Review Water Filter Vacuum Cleaner Review 

They are actually not rare, I work for Hyla and our product is in almost 90 countries worldwide. Also, it's not true that we don't sell very many.. I have sold 150 machines each year; my first 2 years. It is not a German Rainbow, yes it uses water.. but it uses 4 times the amount of water as a rainbow and has only water to filter.. Rainbow in fact uses hard filters too and only a quarter to maybe a half gallon of water at the most! Also, our motor is brushless, self cleaning and spins at 174 mph which would be classified as a CAT 5 Hurricane 🌀! Rainbows come with a tool that is a half wrench/ half toothbrush made to service the motor after every other use. Bottom line, Hylas are the best you can buy in the biz... FYI, that is a GST which is a 12 year old model. The 2017 ESTs currently sell at 3995 + tax which is just above the price of the inferior Rainbow. And just so you know, our new 2017 models just recently in 2021 were upgraded to a Defender (DST) motor that spins at 174 mph (CAT-5 Hurricane)🌀! If you are interested in looking into a system.. I recommend getting an in-home presentation from a trained professional, this way you can be sure what a Hyla is/does. You didn't even mention or possibly know about the 10 functions it has for cleaning the air and you only demonstrated 1 of 9 attachments included. I understand you get paid to review products but I just want to be clear for your audience, this was not a Hyla Demo. Demonstrations take about an hour to cover all of it's splendor. You cannot buy one online, only through your local distributor.. if you see any listed online for sale they are usually used, older models and the warranty is now voided as they cannot be resold with the original warranties. Hyla does not sell 0nline! Anyway, the purpose of this comment was not really to criticize the reviewer but more so to give you more accurate/ up-to-date info on our product. The Hyla kills cold, flu and Coronavirus and has so so many more functions and benefits to mention.. I suggest you get a no obligation in-home presentation before you make any decisions. Afterall, that is the only way to shop for them anyway, through an in home presentation.

have had this machine for about 4 years. the water filtration is simple and clean. my only gripes with it is its weight. i have white trim in my house and my wife is constantly banging into the door frames and baseboard causing dings and scuffs.

I like the way the water bin can be emptied easier than the rainbow, no big lip on the edge around it.

They first had been invented and are still produced in Slowenia. The newer version named EST instead of the GST as appearing in the video has a maintainanance free brushless motor and the power cables for the motor brush are now hidden inside the tubes and are connected while connecting the tubes. Plus in comparison to the Rainbow there is no additional outlet filter (which need replacement and also reduces the suction power in a way) and still 99.9% of dust is being held back. The separator and motor are not effected by dust flow and basically could last forever. Everything works just reliable and is built very sturdy.

Nice to see review of HYLA. We have quite a lot of those in Finland. I actually bought Wessel Werk EBK 340 from HYLA vacuum. It has same frog logo in the bottom and hood was green. I took the hood off and painted it black because green didn't suite to my other vacuums. My EBK 340 is older model with cylinder type brushroll and one wide fluorescent light. Great powerhead, but heavier than the Sebo ET1.

Hyla is such a good machine that all hyla salesman and saleswoman feel the need to compare it to rainbow every time they talk about it. On the other hand, I have never heard a rainbow salesman or saleswoman even mention hyla 😂😂

Fun review. Thank you. I looked into getting a Hyla. Sadly, they have very limited distribution in the US. There is a really cool looking vacuum called Vivenso. I think it may be another German brand vacuum. It would be fun to get a hold of one of them.

How does it fit the top to the bottom

They're Slovenian. That RF hose is interesting, I just received an electric hose for a GST this week and it has no controls on it, but it has some strange groves on the front of the hose, most likely to mate with that control.

I have a hyla, I just paid $2200 for it and feel like I could have gotten a better deal and I like it minus the fact that the tools don't fit in the holders that they have on the edges of it. some of the tools fit but most of them dont😇😲🤐

Okay now I have to ask. After seeing your most recent upload on water vacs. Which do you prefer, hyla, rainbow, quantum, or sirena? I think I hit all the big players in this realm of expensive water filtration lol. Seems like a bit of a niche area, I kinda want one now if I can find a cheap used one on CL maybe lol. Of course the big appeal with these is that they don’t lose suction. Neither does a Miele with a hepa bag until it’s full (maybe 5%?). They just look cool.
