This is a walk and talk tour of the HYMER AKTIV S as seen at the 2019 FL RV Supershow in which I compare it to the original promaster based models. I am not technically versed, so this is as seen and described by a 5ish foot tall lady who loves to poke around recreational vehicles and check out their designs. At this show I focused on CLASS B RVs and this video is at the request of several subscribers . . . enjoy!

The Hymer Aktiv S is the latest variation of the Aktiv lineup and the first North American market one to be produced on the Diesel based Mercedes Benz sprinter 2500 chassis with a 144” wheelbase.
It has some features that are seen on it’s European counterpart the Hymer Grand Canyon.
Listed measurements per preliminary spec sheet are as follows:
Exterior length is 19’5”
Exterior width is 6’8”
Exterior height is listed as 9’7”
Interior Standing height 6’3”
Maximum GVWR 8550lbs
Occupancy & Cargo Carrying Capacity 1300lbs
Towing Capacity 5000lbs
While the original model that debuted at the Hershey show in 2018 indicated 2 seatbelts on the bench seat, this one boasts a larger single bench seat and lists a seating capacity of 3.
The familiar fold down rear bed system measures 72’5’ x 55’5”
It has a wet bath with cassette toilet (different model than in the original Aktiv 1.0 and 2.0 models).
The galley kitchen comprises of an induction cooktop, sink with flip down faucet and a compression refrigerator with internal venting and a nighttime mode that reduces energy consumption and sound.
The warm buttercream cabinetry as seen in all the North American Hymer Aktiv models is offset with a new soft grey leather and fabric palette.
I believe it comes equipped with the familiar Truma Combi heat/hot water system.
