Take a look to the complete lyrics of the Mexican national anthem, it is way, way more violent and gruesome in its depictions of what would happen to the foreigners invading Mexico. The french troops in the 1868 war learnt that it wasn't just pure posturing, a frightening number of machete amputees among their troops after each battle with the indigenously troops… still hapoens today.

Why can't normal national anthems be this epic. This is genuinely catchy and also inspiring while honoring those who died for democracy. Also, "All who resist it shall face our wrath" goes very hard.
