Are people here stupid? It's obviously a mod, and mania modding isn't that advanced yet, so how would they add the dash? For the music, just delete the ogg file that has that song (Data>Music>Super.ogg) Aside from that, pretty good mod, didn't think that was possible, even though it's still not perfect
I'd love it if you release a version of the UI except the part where the act is colour in all red, yellow and blue I want it to be specifically coloured for each character your play as (Sonic is blue, Tails is yellow, Knuckles is red)
This might be a MOD but sonic mania was actually gonna have Hyper Sonic and sonic mania was actually gonna be called Sonic Discovery, SO its kinda a MOD that uses some of the unused stuff in the game

That Hyper Sonic theme is from Sonic 3 COMPLETE, but originally is from Sonic and knuckles PC COLLECTION as an unused theme, but has been used for Sonic 3 as Super Sonic's theme.
If it could let you breath underwater and destroy every enemy on the screen with a flash, I would want it, plus, I would remove all dopey music from the files.
If they were going to add hyper sonic then instead of flashing colors it should be more of the same exact colors of hyper sonic but it changes colors by fading instead of flashing them rapidly that way people w/ epilepsy can enjoy hyper sonic without having an epliepsy seizure

Humanity at it's Finest thanks for the little defense and all,but all my videos are Android ones and I even draw this in android. I downloaded apps to make my gameplay videos better in a way.

Sega was normally going to name Sonic Mania, Sonic The Hedgehog Discovery But they decided to name it Sonic Mania… also Hyper Sonic was going to be in Sonic Mania but he did sadly got removed and the Blue Spheres Stage were going to be the Special Stages for Sonic Mania but sadly it didn’t get to be a Special Stage…
And an unused track from the Nov. 3, 1993 prototype. Some speculate it was originally the super/hyper music which would've been really cool as the invincibility theme gets annoying after a minute.
For the dash, are you able to lock in a fire shield and make it to where they can't change the shield? I'm new to the STH hacking community, so I don't know the limits.

Yes let's totally bash a mod mod for music not even part of the mod and the absence of a dash due to modding limitations. He tried and did a good job of making it. Even if it's not perfect I am still impressed with the effort.
The music is good, I just feel that it doesn't fit with something like Super/Hyper Sonic. If anything it should be put in a Bonus Stage, like the Gumball Machine or the Slot Machine.

MTL Månsson First, I think you mean the other games, since there's only one actual film so far. But to answer your question, I'm pretty sure the super emeralds are inactive, so hyper cannot be used
I mean hyper is just slightly cooler super so I assume Sega figured Super Sonic was enough for every game after. Also to get the Super Emeralds the Master Emerald is needed and that hasn't appeared since SA2.
@@thepastasalt2278 Late reply but Izuka hates the Super Emeralds. He has some weird strict rules regarding super forms and such, thats why we dont see Super Tails or Super Knuckles in the games anymore apart from Mania

In hyper transformation, the song that plays is undoubtedly misused. I love hearing it in S3C but I don't think it's very fitting here. A Mania rendition with a little Oomph would've been great. I still like the song though... a lot.
Wouldnt it be cool if someone found a way to make all the leftover\unused sprites and animations like hyper sonic and the super emerald coming back and made it a sonic mania rom hack that would be so cool 😏
