To anyone obsessed with the 80s and 90s, and love everything oldschool, this is a good investment. I'm starting to wonder if anyone produces oldschool computer cases ahaha make my modern PC look like an old junk

nice review, the quality was good and the edition of you 8 year old self was a nice touch.

i think they were going for a yellowed look for this keyboard because when not treated properly, the snes often turns more yellow than gray. just a guess though.

I'm a sucker for the purple SNES colors so I'm buying it no matter what price it is.

Amazing Camera Work As Usual I also think the price is kinda overpriced hope one day you will get 100000 Subs :)

people buy mechanical keyboards for performance in gaming and precise typing, the tactile feedback and click clack is so they know they have made each input with out having to look, most people do not purchase a mechanical keyboard for the lighting effects, rating a mechanical keyboard on the lack of LED is like rating a sandwich on the color of the cheese, if you want a keyboard just for LED backlit effects there are way cheeper non mechanical keyboards on the market

If anyone is still watching this video - bought this keyboard without deep research which was my fault entirely. Had this issue that the key would cease functioning at random points when being held down. Not ideal when you need to hold keys down to move. I did a few testing and the keys would stop working, each key had this issue, and the point that the key stopped working was at random at any given time. It had warranty as this issue was made obvious very quickly, but being outside of the US, Hyperkin wouldn't help on that front. The best thing I could do was send it back to the retail site (got it off Think Geek). TG did offer to refund it, but I had to pay shipping (from Australia), and maybe a full refund because I didn't have the original packaging. It wasn't worth the effort for a 'maybe', so it just sits in the corner. A hard lesson learned indeed.

If your looking for a 65 percent and wireless (can be used in wired mode) nintendo themed mechanical keyboard, I would recommend the Durgod fusion. It comes with cherry MX switches and even has the same grooves above the number keys just like the NES! durgod-fusion-a-mechanical.kckb.st/83f3bcef

I really didn't get a SNES vibe from this keyboard at all. There's too much purple whereas the SNES just had purple accents. The beige color and different font don't help either.

If this keyboard did had 2 controller inputs for snes controllers,then it would,ve be a must have,but sadly no.

The switches are Gaote Blue .

Hey, just wanted to tell you that you make awesome videos and you motivated me to start my own tech channel. I got all equipment u need expect a camera (but iphone 7 4k works great). If you want to check it out the name is bedahtpro, havnt made any videos yet tho.

The keyboard is highly unresponsive. Was very sad about this. I could not even type my password in to log in without losing a few keystrokes in a row. I had another friend buy this keyboard as well and expierence the same thing, so i know its not just me.
