Absolutely PRIMAL, I can feel the energy from my screen, this must feel so good after they're done, they go back home sit and relax almost like they just had a massage, it feels unreal.
Just like going to a really good rock concert with all your best mates: friends from childhood, work, neighbors and cousins, singing songs that praise a higher spiritual level. I dont follow any religion at the moment but this ritual is quite deep like you said.
This is the only proof of humanity left. All other proofs of kindness are individual acts or symbols of something. This is what action is about - in human terms.
Around a thousand years ago Imam Muhammad Al Ghazali told story of a man walking in the jungle. A roaring lion ran towards him and the man ran as fast as he could to escape from it. He noticed a well in front of him and he jumped inside hoping to escape from the lion. As he was falling inside the well, he grabbed onto the rope and saved himself. The man was so relieved but when he looked down he saw a big snake at the bottom of the well. It had its jaws wide open ready to swallow him up. The man then looked up and saw two mice nibbling at the rope. A black mouse and a white were both chewing into the rope. The scary lion was still prowling outside the well. The man's heart was pounding as he wondered how he could escape from this. Then he noticed a honeycomb in front of him which had delicious honey dripping from it. He stuck his finger into the honey and put it inside his mouth. It was delicious and for a moment he forgot about the lion, the snake and the two mice chewing at the rope. Imam Ghazali explained that the lion is like the angel of death which is always looming above us. The snake was like his grave which all humans will face. The black mouse and white mouse were like the day and night which are always nibbling at our life (the rope). The honey was like this dunya which with its momentary sweetness makes us forget the death and the eternal life.

The Arabic phrase of worship "ilila Allah" literally means, "only God" and when reciting you must concentrate only on the presence of The Almighty Creator all around you
It probably hurts and is quite unpleasant, and you and everyone else would sweat their ass off, and it would smell horrible, because these guys do this for 30-60 minutes non stop
I think people making fun must have totally sealed off hearts and minds. This is so powerful. The solidarity of keeping in sync, fosters a very brotherly atmosphere. That one man chanting clearly and powerfully without a microphone. He must have lungs strong as anything. Everyone focused on devotion to the One. The Eternal. La illah ilAllah.
This is a hysterical funny dance. They don’t seem to realize how goofy and stupid this is. And Muhammad was a pedophile. A 7 year old girl named Aisha comes to mind………………..
They are saying no one worthy of worship except the one true creator and enjoying the power of the truth a strengthening of the heart and spirit. As a brotherhood strength and truth beyond truth and great relax peace pleasure and the monotheism rids all spiritual disease and good exercise brotherhood sharing spirit too
@@ph0n3imp0st0r this is a pagan war dance brought over to islam by Chechnya when they integrated into Islam. It's the same as how the Europeans integrated Christmas into christianity after the conversion.
@@tanishareynolds3748 Integrating certain aspects of culture and custom with Islam as long as it does not contradict the beliefs and principles of Islam and it does not become obligatory and mainstream for all Muslims (as in people don't consider such acts as obligatory in Islam so as to become mainstream) is fine. Even if what you are saying is true the Chechnyans just changed their old tradition into an Islamically viable group Dhikr/Zikr (remembrance of God). Countries like Turkey also have similar Zikr traditions albeit with less physical movement.
@@YamacKocovali7 Exactly, this is fine. Infact, the young Sahaba who were very shy in meeting the prophet would begin to do zikr around the prophet....
This is more than a dance or a cardio workout. This is a lesson of unity and solidarity. Like, when soldiers march together in a mass formation, or run together in formation, everyone in step, everyone running to the same cadence. Unity and solidarity. That's a lesson good for any community.

G L.C bro idk about goon squads because u made that up plus chopping of heads is not wrong this all started to the path of Allah, Sunnis rules had changed tremendously, I’m not saying that there might be pure Sunni groups but rn we are instructed to worship Allah and follow. Why do Sufis chant? … dance and movement, and other demonstrative exhibitions of faith, as palpable demonstrations of ecstatic love and spiritual joy in communion with the Divine And this actually is considered haram in the muslim community . This has absolutely nothing to do with Islam, rather their own pleasure of hypnosis
dat boi shawn who tips 0% I think it's pretty cool too, especially the chanting. I wonder if this wouldn't be a big hit with American Indians too. Hell if all I had is the soundtrack to go by, I'd say it's either something from Sibiria or American Indian.
@statinskill No it wouldn't, unlike this culture, Southwestern American NATIVES don't take in religion. And the Native American dances have a much older purpose than this video. Pow-wow on the other hand... They might take it in willingly.
there could be around 200 men circling.. that makes average 15 tons jumping up and down .. I think no building would withstand that level of stress without cracks😂 😅 .. glad they do it in some form of a tent on the ground
There are studies that when someone is singing or dancing at the same tempo for a while, their hearts will actually start to beat to that beat and align the people in the choir or group. I can’t imagine the feeling of everyone being in sync in this circle and what it must feel like doing this with that amount of people.

This is really kind of a beautiful thing. This is a gem of raw humanity. It seems ancient and somehow refined at the same time. Religious argument aside, this is something of humanity that should be more documented. One day this tradition may no longer exist or transform. This is stunning, primal and incredibly artistic.
I agree entirely. There's a primal heartbeat to this, and if you listen long enough, your own heart starts matching that rhythm. It taps into something primordial, and sweeps us away.

The Circle of Life Dance, a very beautiful cultural and Spiritual Dance. This may come from very, very old dance. Elders/wise ones in inner circle. Outer circle younger, those who are learning working harder to learn the Spiritual way of life. (running to keep up with the way.) One calling out the way, (leader of the Word) others chanting. It was done to remember before writing. The beat is the beat of man and earth living.
they are saying " ALLAH HU ALLAH HU ALLAHU HU" when i was kid me and my friends used to go the mosque that the sufi where doing the dhikr at the Friday evening it was mesmerising and they are kind&loving, they would give us snacks, perfumes where sprayed on us and the whole around, oud and musk smoke and other perfumes the atmosphere the spirit in the room very strong you will feel it such a time. my ALLAH forgive us.
Zikr is the sacred phrase "La Ilaha, El Allah Hu" spoken or sung aloud, and means "There is no reality, except God." Zikr, which means "Remembrance," is intended to take the practitioner beyond intellectual belief into spiritual experience. Many Sufi schools use movement and dance as part of their spiritual endeavors. In fact, it appears that all indigenous cultures have used sacred dance to reverence the Divine and to facilitate ecstatic states.
This was not practice of Prophet Muhammed salallahu aleyhi we salam, and he said that all innovations in faith ( ibadat! And cars are not part of ibadat and we dont have to use camels) are prohibited.
