I knew what it was when it pulled into the garage door. "Aging Wheels" has 3 of those things. One of the three works other 2 are parts.

@@9to5less glad you remember me! , 32kwh sounds like a very good start , paired with solar its possible that could sail the cat all day long , my boat unfortunately broke loose in late 2021 and got damaged after it hit a bridge , i sold it last year & decided to take some inspiration from yourself , i bought a full backpacking setup to travel with this year & will be filming as much as i can for my channel , hoping to get back to boating in a couple of years time

It’s a Coda… Might want to catch up on Aging Wheels before driving it cross country because… it probably will not make it and parts are unattainanium

Oh yea I saw a couple of his videos and he was right about all of it. As I understand it he got a couple from a different company that wanted to put some of their own parts into. But yea to own one of these cars it would be good to have a spare or two hahaha

@@9to5less no he ended up with Coda experimental units. They were built by Coda, and were testing platforms for the next gen which never came. One had an actual transmission, another had a larger battery pack… He got them from a actual Coda Engineer who put one of the experimental cars back to “stock” and that’s the one he is trying to save.

Yea it works really well for that you’re right! Also, I found that if I go around 65 mph I’ll get close to 60 mpg. Love it!

I did look into those and the only drawback I see is the amount of heat that would build up in that area and after all consideration I decided to just get it the heck out Los Angeles lol

Is that a Geo Metro electric car? Watch the You Tube channel "Watch JR Go" as he just bought one and is rebuilding it. If it is one of those cars then it is only good for 20-50 miles per charge so you might want to make other plans. John Robinson (JR) is out of Witchita, KS.

Oh that’s cool!! Those things get amazing gas mileage with the original motor! Perfect body for an EV. I’ll check it out. This is actually a 2012 Coda EV and only a 117 we’re sold
