Yeah I was first really confused about all this scav and karma talk and thought "is this scav thing related to some new game mode or something? anyway, who the heck cares about karma?" and then realized he was talking about Tarkov.

It's unfinished content, Karma was intended to be attached to supercontainer or super container with ship drop rates, they never implemented it because it would be too easy to game or would be unfair to certain players who sit at 0 because of the ships they play (you will get just randomly reported for play X or Y ship, carrier mains never have above 0 Karma)

My all time fun police record: I have shot down 104 planes from a Kaga with my Massa and he still had enough planes to sink me, that goddamn sky cancer. We lost the match too.

@@obamaprism1277 well, if you are not deplaned after 104 planes shot down of course the Devs must do this on purpose. Just yesterday i got harassed in my Massa by a Chkalov. I shot down 62 of his planes and he still had full squadrons to attack me every 20 secs. Of course he sank me, but at least this time my team won. Goddamn cowards in their floating airports...

Idk, flambass was the best target for the cv for a good chunk of the match, he was pretty much alone (except small period of time when des moines was alive in cap lol) so makes sense, carrier should go for him always. You could say "waaaa, cv should be going for dds" but eliminating a russian cruiser is never a bad idea, lets be real :p

Oh man this feels good, i play CVs but even when i play my halland it's too much fun haha. I got 62 with my Halland yesterday, immelman just kept bringing planes and i was happy to shoot em down.

I still remember when the Kutusov came out and effectively was able to guard ships and create no go areas for CV planes. I guess now its something special if its in the Title like this :D Stopped playing long ago because of the CV and because they got a bit rediculous with Premium Ship abilitys.

Gotta love Lütjens being a discount Kuznetsov, although he can heal the ship more times then once I guess. (For those who don't know, Lütjens has a perk that heals the ship: 300hp/s lasting equal to the tier of the ship {so in this case tier X ship = 300 X 10 = 3000hp total}. It activates everytime you get 3 spotting ribbons.)

My best AA Defense was 57, in my North Carolina. I never did die either, that CV was so mad and his team would've won if he hadn't focused me the entire match lol.

I once got AA Defense Expert in a frickin Tashkent. It wasn't the most planes I ever killed, but imagine how much focus from the CV is required for a Tashkent to get AADE. IIRC it was a Pobeda so fighters are the only thing I should realistically shoot down. He permaspotted and hard focused me even before I was any kind of threat to him, so I decided to just rush at him when he failed to realize he had to run with his team. I gunned him down and in the end he got something like 3k damage on me. Probably the most incompetent CV I've seen.

I shot down 86 planes in the Alabama. They had spotting and my team had a crap CV player, so when I got the chance to chase him down I took it. He kept throwing planes at me until he ran into the map border in the corner. It was glorious fun killing that CV! My team won the game bc he was so focused on me he quit spotting for his team

It works its just.....it only really works on Japanese planes (flak nukes them instantly btw but only them). Everything else is too tanky, maybe if you buff the shit out of it with skills, mods, DEF AA and Sector. Reguardless i think thats due to the fact most of AAA is in the MID to SHORT areas (and short range is only 2km which means a plane flying OVER you gets hit 3 times if that in the 1 second it flys over you) and the Long range is just AWFUL.

Wargaming needs to learn that Aircraft should NOT spot a ship on ANYTHING but the MAP...... they sould be able to spot for themselfse but should NOT light up a ship On screen...

Yep, nothing like spending 5 minutes setting up a play to push, then being randomly spotted at the worst possible time. Most times you are picking a tough fight that needs the element of surprise to have chance of success. To me that is the most thrilling part of the game, sometimes I just quit in frustration.

you only run ranged mod on desi if you can aim, i can hit kebler's at 17km with a range modded desi. if you can't do that much, then you should be doing reload mod desi. frankly i usually prefer reload mod desi anyway. i only use ranged mod when i'm playing randoms, cause some of the t10 random maps are really unforgiving for 15km desi guns. that desi was one of the worst shots i've ever seen, and him kiting away from a 2k hp nevsky when he could have bowed in and finished you off in second fried my mind. just terrible play by desi there.

That why i only use reload mod on a des moin, just need to be more pacient and hold on a flanking side.

@@kenk9637 - on SEA server, a reload demoines is a dead demoines. Even when you have heaps of islands to hide behind, the asia server is brutal for any cruiser without good range. The snipers are experts and the CV's are either unicums or decent to good. You get focussed the instant you are spotted and because the range is short, you are dead in under 30 seconds.
