@@peacheskong2245 True racism more than likely held it back. Plus Americans don't have patience for anything that doesn't have killings, explosions, or sex.
It Cracks me up every time when I watch this scene. I Love Eddy Murphy's movie's he's a great actor too☺☺☺ I have it on disc but I don't watch it that much because it was my mom's favorite movie and I think of her when I watch it. She died in 2011 I miss her very much😔😔😔😔😔
Everybody was laughing they're asses off but Cant get Right. He he was aware he probably was never going to see his son again. That must have hurt down deep in his soul.
Yo real talk I said the same thing. Maybe that's because I had a broad like that where we kept shit on the low but lowkey if we were to ever see each other again... but it'll never happen. Life is a trip. AH welp she married and my girl is badd but still lmao. One lifetime ain't enough for all this kitty cat out here running around breh
Even though they added humor to this scene, I'm a grown man and think this is actually an emotional scene. Just to think that boy will never be able to be the proud father of that baby with that girl. He even tipped his hat when she left, that's freaking sad!
@@camsterdam3896 do you even know what tf a liberal is? You should trying being one you fucking robot. lib·er·al /ˈlib(ə)rəl/ adjective 1. open to new behavior or opinions and willing to discard traditional values. (of education) concerned mainly with broadening a person's general knowledge and experience, rather than with technical or professional training. synonyms:wide-ranging, broad-based, general, humanistic "the provision of liberal adult education"
You know the joke is funny when absolutely no one - not even the one telling it - can stay in character lmfao what an amazing comedian. I like to point out something special is that he brought his personality and individual sense of humor to every role he played and made it memorable regardless of how bug or small. A true blessing to his industry. One of my personal favorites. Rest in power Mr Mac
This Whole Scene was Gold From his Facial expression to Them Protecting Can't Get Right To Bernie's I'm The Pappy Line How Did This Movie Not Get An Award
Yes it's truly an emotional scene..he tipped his hat..he'd love to hug and kiss his baby but it was impossible 😢 💔..broken inside as they drove off..everyone laughed but he didn't..She was afraid for him but waved back too.
If he wasn't so ignorant he would have known that Cant Get Right was the father the second his daughter said "Daddy give me my baby back" after he held the youngin up to his head for comparison.
Vastly underrated, you can see from the body reactions that its genuine laughter ,with Bernie Macs slight pause before he says it, superb. The guard knows he should do summat but gives into the laughter too. Best of luck from England!
Love how Multi layered this Scene is, from the Humor (The Grandpa's reaction, the "DNA Test" Bernie Mac's "Im Da Papi" etc.) To the Honor (The Inmates Stepping in to claim Fatherhood to protect Can't get Right and his Baseball Future) to the Emotion (Can't get Right's Expression and the realization that he will never see his Son or his child's Mother ever again). This is a Comedy but this is a great Scene. Wish they made films this way again
Never say never... He was able to get out, and into a better situation that most black men during that time. His possibilities of seeing his child and the mother again increased exponentially, being a highly sought after ballplayer and all. If it could get him out of a segregated prison in Mississippi in the 30s, he has a decent chance.
Bernie Mac, gone too soon, up there with the funniest and talented comedians and actors the will ever be, a good man, devoted to his family, was unlucky to have a rare immune disease that attacked his lungs and skin, pneumonia is ultimately what he died from as a complication. It’s sad when the good ones go too soon, R.I.P. Bernie Mac!
@@jaywawayma7765 That's what white people like him who spend their time looking up black movies do with their spare time lmfao! He obviously came to this clip in his free time, got triggered by something that happened in his past, most likely a black dude running his wife dog tired and got upset hahahahaha. Typical of sun-scareds.
Judge Dredd hell yeah he lost his wife to a superior specimen that is the black man, bigger, stronger, faster, keeps youth longer and need it not mention being “blessed”😂
The stage was set....And Bernie killed it....LMAO!!! The timing, facial expression and his choice of words.....I have chuckles out the clear blue when this shit hit me on a random thought.
This is one my favorite movies. Murphy and Lawrence were hilarious in this movie. It has funny moments but also has some serious moments in between. A classic comedy that will always be a classic. RIP Bernie Mac
Ray Gibson is the first to step up !! From not letting goldmouth take his cornbread to not shooting cluade on the bottles ray Gibson is a true gangster street dude to the fullest am officially inducting him to the gangster hall of fame !!!!
Wow just noticed the actor who plays "can't get right" is also in the sopranos as "massive genius". He was also in the movie "Devil". So if you're curious on what he sounds like, check out the sopranos season 1 or devil.
