This video made me want to pick up the Splat Roller again even though I never went back to it since I started using the Carbon.

I always use different weapons depending on the maps in rotation with clam blitz. With shellendorf and port mackrel, they're very hard to navigate quickly (shellendorf with the glass ceiling and port mackrel is just VERY long and narrow) so that octobrush had the right idea using those beacons. If you used the Krack-on splat roller, you could have used your kracken beacons (haha) to offer passive support to your team while you're busy slaying. The baller is also a safer special to use compared to splashdown, and it can also help your teammates in pushes by bringing the power clam to the basket and all that jazz. careful that you dont get popped by a long-range weapon though, or you're dead. The Kensa splat roller is my go-to weapon for clam blitz, and the bubble blower will offer as a good defense when you're near the basket with a power clam. And the regular old splat bomb is great for detonating the bubbles as well as directing enemies away from the basket or other teammates. I don't use the default roller much but I hope you'll find a good way to use the roller in general. You're doing a good job! :^>

As a (Hero) Roller main my best advice is: pretend it's Whack-A-Mole, but with squids. That's literally it. (But that was really good, especially the 300IQ bit in the last match!)

As a roller main and a sniper secondary, I can say there are two main ways to play as a roller, you could sneak like ecte does at the beginning, or you could be the ultimate offense by keeping the enemy trapped in their spawn. -Moss/莫素 (Mosu=Moss)

The worst part is when half your team is standing at their basket doing nothing expecting you to singlehandedly take out their entire team, an d then they wanna be surprised when you lose

Claim Blitz is my second lowest mode at S+ 9 (with Splat Zones at S+ 8), but I kinda enjoy it with all the strategy going on... also I like math and this mode has a ton of that

@etce asa kensa dynamo main, its fun backlining, but having inksaver is crucial, i use kensa dynamo for its sheer force with a speical saver (i tend to die a lot) it dominates in zones, if you really like back lining run speed is good and main ink saver is wonderful! your doing us roller mains proud!

Rollers in turf zones are best because everybodys trying to get to the centre so when rollers see them coming they do their jump attack, I got 21 kills in a game using a roller. But it doesn't fit all modes
