My heart went out to you, Renee, as you struggled with the unit contents, so heavy and just SO much. I had to chuckle when Taco Stacks became Taco UNStacks as the suitcases rained down and he dashed out of way! Lol! You get a lot of credit, Renee. This was so much work. God bless you and Taco! ❤🙏✝
Renee, check out the Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon card. Starting this year the NBA 's Defensive Player of the Year winner will now receive The Hakeem Olajuwon Trophy each season. Hakeem is in the Hall of Fame. Olajuwon is the NBA's all-time leader in blocks. He ranks No. 9 on the all-time steals leaderboard. So perhaps that card might be of value. Some of his cards go for $100 +. Good luck. Enjoyed the ✋ given by Taco Stacks with this unit. It definitely was filled to the brim. Glad you were able to unpack it within your time limit. Amazing how compact those suitcases were. Love the vintage pink Samsonite luggage. Looks like 2 pieces were found in your unit. Those were great finds. Glad you safety were able to dislodge that box. Be safe & thanks for the laughs & excitement of searching through this storage unit. Love it ❤️ !
I haven't laughed that hard in a while I would have sat down and cried too for a bit before digging in Thank goodness for Taco Stacks lol The two of you together are hilarious... Hope you do find a few more treasures
You taught us all something very valuable, sometimes storage unit dimensions are not what they seem 😆 So glad you had an extra hand to help out. It always makes work better when you can share the load. I hope you find a few hidden gems in the mix.
Hi Renee. Hurray for Taco Stacks for helping you with the unit. You were not going to take care of that yourself. Hope to see more in the suit cases. God Bless you Renee and Taco Stack's for all the two of you do. Have a great day. Mari'a. 👍👍👍👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I would love to be there to help you out with this one. I could relax in my very comfortable armchair, armed with a Dry Martini, and give good and detailed advice while you worked. "No no, not that one, take that one instead, careful now, don't ruin things, is it not possible to find a good bartender in this place? Well, I can mix one myself. Hey hey hey, that suitcase is going to fall!! Careful!" and so on. You know, everyone appreciates good advice. And some moral support.
I loved this video! I laughed out loud when Taco is like, "Oh, Geez!" and makes a bee-line for the door as the pile comes tumbling down. Y'all made this video so much fun to watch.
I loved this video❤👍 You and Taco Stacks make a really great pair. The respect for each other is so cool to watch. You two have eyes out for different but in the same scope of things. 💗I love the pink suitcases💗 I would have loved this lifestyle....but I had kids🥴 Now the grand kids..😘
That poor flat moose lol. Jeez, what a mess. Thankfully, you have a great sense of humor. I would be sitting in the middle of the unit crying. Taco Stacks is a wonderful friend to have.
Wow you both did an awesome job and nobody was hurt in the clean out. Good thing for TS Van, love the humor that you 2 displayed. Keep buying storage units love the videos. God bless both of you, peace to y'all. ♥️♥️
Always good to see that you got a helping hand, Renée. Well, you can´t complain that you didn´t get a lot of "merchandise" for your money. If it´s not a business secret, please tell your lovely viewers how much you paid for this overwhelming storage locker. 😁 Anyways, some great and entertaining experiences, just go ahead to the next storage unit adventure 😂. Have a relaxing weekend, well deserved ! 😉 Greets from GER, U.
Just seeing this comment now! The locker was $60. Unfortunately, well perhaps not unfortunately, pretty much all of the clothes were donated. They just aren’t “sellers” at my flea market, especially because many were kids/teen sizes. To launder them all to make suitable for selling, plus storing for the spring flea market, wasn’t an option. At least they can be used by others though since they were donated!
That had more clothing in it than a small town thrift store 😉. Good luck on the sorting. May want to see if there is a company in your area that takes old clothing for rag making. Thanks to Taco for the assistance, hope you got him an ice coffee 👍👍
Renee !!! Thanks for sharing this with us! Taco stacks is sick a great friend to come on the second day to help you! So much stuff in a tiny unit! I appreciate you! Stay safe stay great! Keep up the good work!!!
This was fun & entertaining, with you & Taco Stacks together. If you wanted to have another video, showing more of what items were in there, that would be fun. ☺🙋♀️
Hey Renee, this video was fun. Next time, you and Tace Stacks should put on hard hats, because those suitcases an boxes came down like boulders. It was fun to see you working together with Taco Stacks, my other favorite You Tuber.
Loved the comedy between you and Taco. I’m thinking you’ll find some more treasure as you empty those suitcases. Sell the suitcases at the flea market. Buying a new one is not cheap!!! Loved this because my two favorite YT stars - hope we see more of you two together!!!! ❤❤
That was the only way we could think of doing it! If we had a hook on a pole, that probably would have worked well too. It would have been something to see them pack this unit!
This unit was something else. I had to laugh when Taco Stacks said there ware socks in the money/jewelry box. You guys make a great team, just like Laurel and Hardy, lol 😆. Waiting for the next adventure.❤️🙏🎄🎁🎀🧑🎄❄️🌨️☃️⛄
Wow. That’s all I can say. I truly enjoyed this (all) video. I’m hoping you’ll find some vintage in all those clothes Renee. I hope you’ll share what you uncover. Have a nice holiday. 🎄
This storage locker with you and Taco Stacks was hilarious. I certainly hope you get a surprise treasure after all that work. Thanks for the laughs.😂😂. I think once you pull the door closed that box that’s on top of the door should fall off now that you have most of the stuff out. Just a question, do you have room for all that stuff at home until you can go through it ?
You made my day, I needed cheering up. You and Taco make a good pair😀 It will be interesting to through and I hope you find some more goodies, whatever you paid for it, you'll get it back and more. The Samsonite pink pair should be worth a bit, they are expensive and very nice.
Hey Renee - Another great video! I hope you find some really GOOD stuff tucked inside all of the clothes. You and Taco remind me so much of my husband and myself when we work together. He let you lift a lot of those heavy suitcases - so does my husband. And, when you asked, "How should I get this down?" and he answered, "Very carefully." I said to myself, "Yep, just like us!!" LOL But, we just celebrated our 50th anniversary last week, so it's all good.
Just started to unpack a few of the suitcases & it’s just your regular clothes. They aren’t in bad shape though, so will be donating them to a few local places that collect clothing. Much better than having them end up in a dumpster!
This was a great video & had me laughing out loud. The back & forth between you guys was terrific. I hope you find enough to make your money back and maybe take TS to Dunkin' Donuts and get Salsa a steak 😄. As you've probably figured, every 4 feet of height in a 5 x 5 adds 100 cubic feet of space, so I think you "lucked into" 2 X or 3X what a normal 5 x 5 would contain. This really was an enjoyable 20 mins that I bet will bring a huge # of views & likes. As others have said, I did wince a few times when I thought you or TS might get "pile-driven" by that door or clobbered by a 50 lb. suitcase. I've found a couple items that can be helpful. You can put a small but hefty C-clamp (or other type) in or around the door track to keep the door from falling. An extendable aluminum pole for a paint roller can be used for all sorts of stuff - and a bendable copper coat hanger & electrical tape will double the possibilities. If you don't have steel toed boots, I'm sure you could find a pair cheaply in your travels. And a hardhat with a face shield might save a few goose-eggs. Not to wear all the time, just when under large, teetering stuff. I think I have one I can send you - future box. I know I sound like an overly-cautious, worst-case alarmist, but I was a safety guy at a big facility for a while so I had to read a lot of case studies and see one or two. I don't practice what I preach IRL, of course, because nothing's ever going to happen to me. And once you get the stuff, you'll probably never need it. So - you know what free advice is worth. Thanks & have a great day! Christmas in a week!
I was just thinking that - I invest in a good hard hat & will never use it again! I'm guessing the former owner didn't leave room in the unit for the ladder they must have used to stack those items. I'm now looking for the best thermals/heated clothes because we might be doing a clean out in a house with no running water, no electricity, and it looks like a college frat had parties there in 1989 & left it a total disaster.
You and Taco Stacks work well together. You made our day brighter. This time of the year can be hard for so many for many more reasons... Content like this video really helps more than you know. Thank you both for the funny content. I bet this video gets a lot of overall views. Merry Christmas to all.
I do believe that bills jacket is more than $10. 6:21 I think it's worth an eBay look up. Yeah from what I see on Ebay that jacket might just pay for the entire unit. 👍
A lot of work but you two were so entertaining together 👏. I was nervous when both of you were in the unit that that unpredictable door would close down and you would be trapped 😱
You had me grinning throughout your ordeal. 😁 Now I'm looking forward to you going through all those suitcases! Great vid, your banter with TS as an extra bonus.
That unit was a hot mess! I hope you find some treasures in all the luggage! Throw the clothes in a huge pile & do a bag sale. People usually love that! Here in S. Florida, a lot of flea markets & yard sales do that. Bedding I’d take to the Human Society. That pink Samsonite bag will sell! Love your posts, your always doing something interesting! Happy Holidays & stay safe!
I never realized you had such pretty green eyes. And you are much more outgoing than i have seen you be in the past.great to see you growing in self confidence and buying bigger lots. God bless you and your business.
