Honestly that period correct custom work is cool as heck. And rarrrrre to find. I’d be much more interested in seeing it preserved. Maybe buff and wax the paint and chrome and get the mechanicals a refresh and that’s it. Once that paint is gone it’s never coming back
Love you guys, I grew up in pa and I've ride my whole life. I live in VA now but your videos cheer me up everytime I see one. I just had my bike stolen and while I've been trying to recover it your videos have helped keep my head up.
I don't usually comment on videos, but I wanted to say that I LOVE where the content on this channel is going. It reminds me of grand tour/top gear type stuff: dramatic comedy mixed with review and just plain fun. Please keep making this kind of content!
I was told by my neighbor when I was a child in the 70s . No worries if your points and condenser is bad. Go to a local hardware store pickup a kit for a Briggs & Stratton mower motor and your golden. These people worked on plenty of engines. And of course this was okay until manufacturers started putting in ecms. Craig was sounding giddy as a school girl. Kind of like Burt Reynolds used to laugh. That's a beautiful WLA. Would love to see HD do an icon version of it. From what I understand it was a 18.5 hp engine capable of stop speed of 70 mph.
You can’t change the color it’s the most beautiful bike I’ve ever seen in my entire life. It’s perfect the way it is don’t takeoff the chrome it’s beautiful.
