Bikes and Beards is the vlog of SRK Cycles. The ups and downs of a few Christian guys who left the jobs they dreaded to enjoy work and love life. Trying to juggle the demands of work and family all while trying to change the motorcycle industry and the way people buy motorcycles.

In the late 70s Harley had lots of labor/management problems when they were under AMF ( American Machine and Foundry ) They were what we called “Bowling Ball Harleys”
The guys in my motorcycle club, me🤣 included, removed every ugly orange & yellow safety label and even every manufacurer and model label from our motorcycles, because we prefer the "Clean" look. You would have to pay ME to ride a bike with a CHARTREUSE Insurance Company Name on it. That is OBNOXIOUS as all hell! I'm assuming the loudmouth and his son at OCC got a big check for doing that "rolling billboard" for Gecko, so I can't blame them, they ARE businessmen after all. But why a consumer would buy that is beyond me. He must get laughed at constantly! 🤣
That thing was a ‘Accident waiting to happen’. / Similar to the ‘two stroke’ RD 400cc. Yamaha from the same year. (Many met their demise on these two (2) different bikes back then.).
OK Part 2, Yes save your hearing, thanks Sammy, throttle problem? Don't you want to go down the street doing 60mph at idle. Yes it was made to look at, just like 90% of the Orange County Chopper builds. It was nice to look at though. I bet you made the day for those truckers, but you keep forgetting to hook the off switch to yourself. Yes, Geico will insure anything. LOL. Thanks for the video
3:11 - Maybe another rider can answer this for me, I've never asked anyone. Is that a "thing," that being in neutral before you hit a stop light? There are times if I make a hard stop that I'll have a little trouble getting it into gear, I'll give a rev or two and it'll usually slip into place.... but is that a common thing with the mechanical operation of a clutch and gear on a motorcycle? I recall it happening on more than one bike.
How lucky you are to have the guy who built it next door. I have loved the Orange county chopper show for years, but I didn't think half are rideable with the things that was built. I used VP in my 64 Nova drag racer, very nice. Love the kill switch, lol, until the clip falls off your show. I'm sure you can find a full pump at any bike shop. Nice watch at the end. On top part 2, ps, 50 years of rc boat racing, I would love to know what you plan to do with it. Thanks for the video. Now for part2
Buckhorn bars are a love it or hate it opinion. I hate them. That’s amazing that you found this in a box. You need to break in that engine for a dyno run. You need at least 5000 miles on it
My Vietnam vet uncle rode bikes for 40 + years, he bought one of those new trikes and had a blow out. He died a week later from complications from his wreck. Miss him dearly. R.I.P. Bobby
Shawn shows a blatant disregard for the rules. The sign at Dave’s shop clearly says to enter through the office door, but Shawn walked right in through the garage door. SMH.
