congrats man! just sold my 997.1 manual turbo making over 700hp and already looking to replace it with a 997.2... the 997 turbo might just be the perfect car.
i bought my 991.1 turbo s, i wasnt looking for one but when i saw a jet black metallic with two tone dark red and black + carbon interior with red dial and everything absolutely mint, i instantly bought it
Over here in UK i have a gt silver 991.2 turbo s but i do loveeee the 997.2 turbo s always loved the shape. My turbo has full options inc rear wiper too. painted lower trims look so much nicer too and make car look lower. i put gt3 side skirts on mine and had the ppfd before putting on adds protection to rear arches. i normally dont like an aftermarket alloy on a porsche but those are nice, looks like u got a lovely 997 there
Great buy. These are the greatest of the 911s. Modern AWD & PDK. Small 996-based platform. Sharp example! The only things it is “missing” (a generous term) are clear tails and painted setbacks/center console
Nice. I love the color and options. I think it will look (and ride) even better on stock 19s. I’m betting it’s pretty harsh on the 20s and aftermarket springs. Can’t wait for a driving video and comparison to the C4S.
holy shit pickles!!! what a sano car! its so subtle yet to those who are true 911 fanatics its just right(well 300 additional horsepower is always a sound upgrade) this car is perfect weapons grade ultra performance car!!! people mis-classify these all the time they are not supercars the production numbers alon blow that out those peoples asses. no this is the best sports car(which supercars are in this category too) money can be. it offers performance that can rival or with tuning whip a supercar some hypercars. it can be driven daily to store, commute to work or do roll-ons a 70-130 on the highway. this is also the best tuning platform as well because other than twin turbo kits on V10 no other platform gives the dollar to power ratio like this. parts are pricy but they will last as long as you own it and 911 turbo power is different than any other car. other cars need 150 more horse than whatever the 911 turbo has to keep up with performance. I take car of my brothers air-cooled car but its become so valuable the stress of driving has sadly displaced his will to drive it often. that's criminal. the worst thing you can do to a performance car is let it sit. I haven't watched the video yet, I got so excited and paused it after a minute because I was so excited to tell you you have outstanding taste. you found an extremely tasteful yet aggressive 997 great work. oh I'm trying to get my brother to sell his 19k guards 993 turbo so he can get a newer car that he can drive. there would also be enough left over to buy me a medium mileage 996 turbo. its a win win for him. LOL. my friend your cars is a weapon, it looks like a weapon and I'm sure drives like a weapon as well. now I'm going to watch and enjoy!! thanks for sharing it. im subscribed now so I'm looking forward to seeing a shit ton more with this car. cheers
Beautiful car - I think the 997 Turbo is the perfect 911. Great extras on this example. Dream combo is a Mezger .1T with the 6 speed and the updated .2 rear end 😎
Good video and Greatest all round sports car ever made and best version 911 Turbo ever the 997. Does it have a DCS suspension controller a must have. I like Europipe & as an exhaust option but also Fabspeed muffler bypass considering weight loss, sound & added power. I had a silver with Terrocatta 996 Turbo Stick and now a 997 Turbo Tiptronic meteor grey with rare Sea Blue which I love so much more. Check out my 997 Turbo with 20” Techart video. Cheers
@@Stuttgart_Spotlight the DSC controller is a must have and simple plug and play 10 min install to get the very noticeable 2017+ suspension technology A+ upgrade to help soften the stiff oem suspension specs.
oh yes gt silver or ice blue metallic tickles my pickle. you found such a great specced car I'm sure it was commanding top dollar but this specific car is worth I believe. I like you am a 911 fanatic. the first car I remember seeing was in 1980 a 6 years old and my dad took me to the only Porsche dealer in Baltimore(there were several in MD but one close to us) and saw a silver '79 930 turbo and since then that's the only car in my dreams until '84 when I discovered RUF but that another story. this car has all the right bits and being the 997.2 it doesn't have all the carbon bits, its still right size(but right on the edge) pdk with its stance and wheel combo oh my it just right. of course like you I'd do some things but there isn't a better car out to start or just like it is would and is my dream. now to address the c4 vs turbo, some people will see the same car but we know there are the turbo things we've come to know a distinguish from n/a or Carreras but its a totally different car to the owner. they have the same character flaws of its less than ideal layout but that's its charm other than that even a stock motor car is a savage beast compared to a c4. every sensation is enhanced, its all c4s X10 but they feel like brothers one a stoner burnout and the other a CEO of fortune 500 company with a smokin' hot wife and a garage full of Porsches. im sure you now know which is which. you're a patient man and it paid off in spades!!! cheers
No way small world! When I was shopping anything good that popped up was sold almost immediately, so when this car came up I did not hesitate! The day it was posted on there I reached out and worked a deal with the seller.
