I bought a cheap 1992 classic Range Rover LSE V8 and so should you.
The Range Rover LSE, also known as the Long-Wheelbase or LWB version, was produced between 1992 and 1994. This variant of the classic Range Rover offered increased interior space, particularly in the rear, providing more comfort and legroom for passengers.
Externally, the LSE retained the iconic design elements of the Range Rover, including its boxy shape, distinctive front grille, and rugged styling cues. However, the elongated body added a touch of elegance and sophistication to the vehicle's appearance.
Under the hood, the Range Rover LSE came equipped with powerful 4,2 V8 petrol engines, delivering robust performance both on and off the road. These engines provided ample power for towing, hauling, and navigating various terrains with ease.
Inside, the LSE boasted luxurious amenities and upscale features, catering to drivers and passengers seeking comfort and convenience. Premium materials adorned the spacious cabin, while advanced technology and ergonomic design elements enhanced the overall driving experience.
Overall, the Range Rover LSE stood out as a versatile and prestigious vehicle, combining the legendary off-road capabilities of the Range Rover with added refinement and comfort for an elevated driving experience. Its production marked a significant chapter in the Range Rover's legacy, offering enthusiasts a long-wheelbase variant that catered to their desire for both practicality and luxury.

I have the same one, but its a 1993 LSE, same hard dash and Beluga black in colour. No rust at all, maybe because I'm from Melbourne Australia. Spent a lot maintaining it. Try to stock up on the TPS sensor as they are no longer available, mine is the round one, there are different versions of it. Also, the original sunroof drainage tubes are small and easily clog up, I had mine replaced with bigger tubes after getting the whole sunroof rebuilt.

On my model under the drivers seat is a computer that controls the drivers electric seat and it also controls the electric door mirrors. It has a battery in there, similar to the one found in air-conditioning units, replace it every 10 to 12 years as they leak and will damage the circuit board.

@@largol33t1 are you mental? Things possess value because they are valued by somebody else. The classic Range Rover is valuable because it is from the era that philosophers who drive old Saabs like myself would describe as 'peak' automobile design combustion engine / still hand-made (still real materials) ... let's see... how much do you think it would cost you to buy a brand new 1990 Range Rover that was manufactured in 2020? Try $250,000! that's my guess... they don't build shit like they used to... but it's not an engineering argument... this is a question for people who have taste and are sensible about art and fashion and beauty.... I suggest you get some taste, and then you get a photo of a Range Rover classic - because burning that much fuel in 2020 is immoral.

You got a Very good deal on a pretty much pristine example...just finding the original parts are very difficult nevermind the cost...the parts alone cost a small fortune you are very fortunate indeed..enjoy your RR they are built very well only keep a close watch on any cooling system leaks and fix those right away..the engine heads are aluminum and crack easily when overheated.. I've rebuilt my engine twice learn from my mistake. Love my '91 RR

Just looked here in Australia for similar models - cheapest one was $19000, and one was just under $24000! Mind you, rust much less of a problem here, but trim bakes and falls apart in the sun.

RRCs don’t sell for that much in aus, avg price would be about 4-5K for this model, a couple sellers have put up some crazy listings since some auctions on early models went crazy a year or so ago, no one is aus is paying that much.

Garage Dilettante the early two door models is what sent the prices crazy, here in aus lwb are worth about the same as normal 4 doors, most people only buy em to rip out the 4.2 to swap into a 3.5 or 3.9 normal wheelbase model, the air suspension has a real bad reputation here.

And replace half the parts in the interior! These things are some of the worst vehicles to hit the road in a LONG time. They are so awful that an Australian magazine once urged readers to never buy them new. Wait for someone to own one for a year or two and buy it from them. You save $20,000 easily. That's how bad they are.

@@largol33t1 Late model hard dash cars are perhaps the most reliable car to ever hit the road. This is the pinnacle of the tested and refined 25 year old design before it is ruined in 1994.5. My dad got mine in 98 with 40k miles, now it has 200k. Mine has been incredibly reliable so far, in the interior its had a heater core and a light switch.

Something may have happened to the owner ? or lost his job ? or moved overseas ? or Driving ban, or ill health ? or moved house & had no Parking ? It worries me when i find a car that is too nice. / price very low. sometimes people die & the family has no idea of the car's value ? The LSE can have a much lower value than the Standard version , I'm not sure why . The Only Gain with an LSE is rear passenger floor length. for when the owner is driven by a chaufure ( spelling ? ) Why else would you buy a New LSE ? 6 foot children ? on the school run ?

I found the previous owner. He’s fine. The price was low due to the tax return system in his country. Very high taxes to own an old Range Rover and you get some kind of tax refund if you export it. I have this Range Rover for over a year now and it proved to be a nice ride
