I have the Epson F2100 in my classroom and I like it because you can change designs super fast AND you can get pretreated color tees to print on color without having to go through the dtf process, which it can also do. My students are able to make their own samples super quick and test them out on their peers to get feedback. It’s definitely a situational thing whether it works for you or not. It’s personally great for my situation.
I have really learnt a lot on this because my next sample I wanted to make it DTG printing. But one key point I took from this amazing video is that you can use DTG for personal samples for photoshoot to advertise early rather that waithing for the bulk screen print and also making a bulk of samples will take a lot of time. Thank you Nicholas Clark, Marlon Watts and WRLDINVSN
I am in the same field with dtf and yes its a head wrecking journey I have currently been in the wreck with my equipment for for almost a year due to bad printheads and also being a beginner not knowing the quality of inks I've learned dtg and dtf is path that will put Grey hairs in your head in a early stage but a person like me is always determined and love the fact that I actually see the process of the art I've created being printed and heat pressed by me yes I can chose the other routes of finding the middle man to print my designs for me but I like to have that hands on feel and also it helps you with being more sharp on knowing how to work and maintenance your printer it can be a stressful journey but the quality you get in the end is 1000 times worth it
Kornit printing 16x21 full color is under a minute. Printful and Amazon is their biggest clients. Dm if y’all serious about learning more about DTG. Epson will eventually break down just like the brothers.
The BIGGEST and MOST IMPORTANT part of DTG is proper pretreat application and using a quality formula, applied at the right amount. Viper PT machines and Image Armor Pretreatments are a recipe for massive success! We'd love to see you try some.
Buy a Kornit. It will change your life in DTG. Yes, it’s the Ferrari of DTG but once y’all get it down and have somebody trained as a technician there. You’ll be able to print over 100 different designs under 3 hours with no pretreat.system!!! The Kornits have an inline pretreat so it’s wet on wet printing. It will cost you around 300k for a machine and set up with inks and tech coming out to train y’all. It’s worth it!!
Appreciate it for droppin drop! For telling us that ink isn’t cheap, & it’s hundred dollars to purchase & it doesn’t contain enough ink so have to restock with ink! Ima keep dropping gems! Throughout the your RU-vid video New subscribers probably seen me throughout most videos! #StayBlessed
Dtg printers are not time effective and ink cost a lot. To be super successful must invest into your skills/ experience great gem Nick ! I like how you make everything transparent and authentic easy to understand. Dtg printers are good to make samples quick and to promote a drop but don’t use for bulk orders. The shirt came out nice 🔥 Great video again 💯🔥
You literally answered a question I had within the first 2 minutes. My screen printer says they can't provide samples if the print method is screen printing, and I was wondering if that is normal. I want to learn how to do screen printing so I can make my own samples when I need them. Upon doing the research on the screen-printing process I understand why it isn't worth it for shops print one sample.
Phenomenal Video🤝🏾🔥🧘🏾♂️ I Learned that making the samples is very critical to composing the photo shoot and getting the marketing park of things started before loading up on inventory with no sales yet. Great video! 🎉
Look into print shops that have a DS-5000 by M&R the print shop I worked for has one in DFW full color amazing quality can run as many shirts as the loader can load per hour. They ran 1500 an hour. Only a few print shops have them because it’s a 500k machine
That’s a great idea I got a heat press so I can do my samples. Just have to get the transfers though. So I did the same because Screen Printer’s don’t like samples. Love it though 💯❤️
I never thought about the ink price and how long it could take so you put me on game for that. For samples, that’s a good idea I would get a DTG printer for samples
please dont, thats terrible advice. get a heat press and DTF prints instead for a fraction of the price. DTG printers are only worth it if you have a clothing business and the printers are actually making you money. and even then its not really worth it
Bro the amount of time and upkeep for a printer like this almost requires a dedicated person to operate. Gotta run it everyday, until it needs service. Honestly don’t think y’all will keep it. Find someone that can print DTF and order as needed for samples. To own a DTG JUST for samples seems crazy.
Just started my clothing llc and i feel like i learned a few things like sampling wise but still have a few questions like are dtg machines (12,000)cheaper than screen printing machines and why are screen printing machines better?
naa this is way too expensive just for samples. you can get a heat press for as low as $200 and then order some DTF prints. spending thousands just for samples and photoshoots is wild.
Today I got a tutorial to print the strategy is perfect really gives you the opportunity to promote each drop especially if your useing the same blanks no room for error honestly appreciate the game as always
Invest in your experience and invest in your skills. Thanks for keeping 100 about the screen print. They will charge you out of the a$$ for one design, colors, and set up. Genius to invest in your business to make your own sample. I am going to send my samples to you❤. God bless. Thanks for the gems…
uhhh..why didnt you just buy a heat press and do DTF transfers for a fraction of the price if you only need it for samples and photoshoots? seems like overkill
this is a terrible idea. why would anyone spend thousands on a dtg printer when you can buy a heat press for a fraection of the price and order some DTF prints for super cheap. makes no sense.
I learned that DTG printers are not good if you want to push out large amounts of product. The ink is very expensive & they print slow. They are good to have if you need samples ASAP.
You already know that the finished on that DTG is not apples to apples right? Dtg has a better result and no hand feel than the screen print itself. so i think your promoting the wrong idea cause there getting a different products base on the samples that your making.
