Browsing through the internet and stumbled upon a deal I couldn't pass up. So after many years of needing a four wheeler to plow the snow during the brutal Minnesota winters my wait is finally over. I bought a new ATV!
ATV is a 2003 Polaris Sportsman 500 H.O Remington Special edition
Tires are 28x10x14 Sedona Mudda Inlaws
Wheels are STI HD3 Alloy Wheel
Atv also has a 2" Highlifter lift kit.

those tires are great if you never leave soft mud but good luck on any other surface the sedona mud rebels are where its at

Definitely some serious tire for a 500! I still have mine and it runs like a champ...Definitely can't say anything bad about the 2003-2004 Sportsman 500's other than once I bought my 1000XP Sportsman...It is hard to even get on the ole 500 to even plow now. :-).

I can imagine having that much power would definitely make it difficult to want to ride a 500 again. Im looking forward to winter just for plowing snow and going on some winter rides with my atv. Hopefully get some video also.

Hop on one and you will surely get the "bug" and want to be finding yourself on one eventually. lol. It is that first press of the throttle on the 1000...and you're hooked. Where about are you out of?

@@NorthCountryBoyz Yeah Northern Mn winters suck, we already had -12f a couple days ago. I definitely prefer the summer time. Maybe one day I will move to a nice warm tropical climate... One can only dream Lol. I keep waiting for snow to do some videos but all we get is a small dusting and cold temps.

I was goona say you're either from northern Ontario like myself, or Minnesota! Nice bike ! I have a 2017 sportsman 570 polaris pursuit camo with Pro Armor Attack 26x9x14 front and 26x11x14 rear on Pro Armor Sixr matte Black rims , same basic idea wanted a 1000 well actually an 850 but the price difference at the time wasn't worth it to me. maybe in a couple years ill get myself an 850 and the wife can have the 570 for puttsing around in the yard etc.

I was wondering what the Polaris cost you before you added the tires and wheels? And how much extra where those?

If i remember right the Atv was $3400 with the plow. Tires and wheels were around $1000 - $1200.

@@Temptation_Offroad Ok. Thanks for letting me know! I just bought a 2001 Sportsman 500 HO with 800 miles a couple of weeks ago. It was owned by an older gentleman that used it to putt around on at his lake cabin and for plowing snow, stored inside so it's in excellent condition. It came with a V plow and windshield for $2000. I keep seeing so many different people online talking about how cheap theirs was, that I've been second-guessing myself a little bit! Mine is green but I'd like to make it camo, whatever the best option is for doing that. (Plasti-dip, wrap, paint, whatever)

@@adamr8628 Nice find, cheapest way would be a wrap. Otherwjse maybe try to find all new camo panels online but that would probably be expensive.

About to buy the same exact year machine but nowhere near as clean. That thing looks like it was never taken off the showroom floor! Do you still have it and how do you like it so far?

Yeah i still have it and it still runs good. It is more of a trail riding/plowing machine now as I bought a 2021 Outlander 850 XMR for playing in the mud. You can see it on my channel videos.

If i am thinking right you could go on e bay and order some 1 inch wheel spacers and put them on. Then use the caps for the wheels that they came with. That should get you enough clearance for the hub cap. Also i forgot to add this in. Is that on stock axles?

Tyler Elliott500Sportsman That might work... Yeah they are stock axles, hopefully they don't break right away. I'm not planning to be too hard on them.

Temptation2003 I'm running 27x9x12 front and 27x11x12 rear. The tires are ITP 589.

It will keep going until you get high centered on the frame, otherwise the Mudda Inlaws keep clawing and chewing like crazy! Love these tires

@@Temptation_Offroad dont feel bad here in ms every canam we ride with has stupid electrical problems all have had diffs rebuilt an the 5 year older ones stay running hot the canams and mud dont mix.. I would suggest if u want a canam it better be for drag racing in a straight line on dry ground lol they suck donkey balls it takes a master mechanic and fabricator just to keep them up may God have mercy on the average joe who decides to shell out 14k on a peice of shit canned ham
