Im insanely jealous, I must admit! I first fell inlove with aircooled P cars at 17 with my new to me 1983 911SC. All the "cool" kids had IROCS, TA's and GT's.

Favourite Porsche in the garage so far 👌 I get where you're coming from regarding video views, even as someone who is deeply into the mechanical side of cars I sometimes prefer the easier viewing of the quick churns as opposed to the 912 updates. Congrats TGE. Great purchase, proper cool useable classic 911. My Dad is currently having his guards red 1979 911 Targa fully restored, having owned it since 1983. Can’t wait to get it back on the road, especially after watching this vid!

Great wagon although those rear wheels look like they need a few spacers - they don't look like they quite sit right in the arches, although it could be the churning camera work ha!

Beautiful. I ran a 3.0 SC in Guards and a 3.2 Carrera in Granite Green in that year - the g50 box was a massive improvement. Miss them both! Nice acquisition, Tom. ENJOY! ❤

Congrats Tom great car a really nice purchase. You own some of the gems of automotive world . Porsche is the only brand right now that really don't mess around they are the only brand that made nice cars and still continue to do so . The only brand that still excites me when they launch a new car .
Fantastic choice! well done sir..From own experience back in the days i had the oportunity to do a roadtrip over the alps down to the italian/french riviera in a targa same as yours,. I can almost gurantee you an unforgetable experience/memory, specially going with your loved one (and Chrisp i hope)...it´s just something about these targa Porsches and some lovely roads that leaves you smiling...and everyone you pass/meet will smile along....congrats Tom!
