I really luv the way these cars look,,I bought a 06 magnum and it was a complete shiny shitbox,,suspension would literally fall apart every 3 months no joke!! Dodge should have been made to buy them all back and crush them, it was a killer looking car but what a junker
I just bought one bought v6 version for 1,700 body near perfect condition & interior as well just minor cosmetic things & need work on the engine replacing the fuel injectors
I love my 05 RT, but it sure eats parts. You said under $300 for front end parts, that's a mistake. I bought the same kit from Detroit Axle on ebay, waste of money. 10K miles later, it's all bad, the rubber is torn. I would suggest Dodge OEM parts, or the best Moog parts, they have a cheap and a good part. I had a stubborn ETC problem (lightning bolt ya-ain't-going-anywhere). It needed a new computer, no problem since. Now I can't get more than 5K miles from a differential seal. Exhaust leak and codes like yours. Bad vibration around 100mph, OK over 110. Make sure you get a new fuel tank if need be, the original tank is defective-stalls after filling up. OK after 30 miles or so. Brakes are super in this beast but warp under heavy braking at speed. Replace the motor mounts with the new 6.1 mounts, they can't separate. I love the power, but it's a lot to keep up with.
It didn't run right with the intake, so it sounded bad. This was not one designed for the car though. It was clearly cobbled together out of some other kit.
Strange question how do you operate the rear wiper? I haven’t a clue if it’s broken or if it is supposed to work only when I spray the windshield. Help?! Lol
I bought my challenger rt for 5,000 with 189k great cars because now it has 250k miles no check engine and several long trips and a lot of city driving with plumbing tools pipes ladder dolly great cars
