Love it. I’ve been sim racing for over a decade and my only advice is for you to turn off the lights. Everything in that room will melt away and GT7 will feel WAY more immersive.
Thanks for you video , i want to start a hobby again and i figured sim racing looks fun. Im a ps5 person and im glad you list everything i need and works for GT7
I was sim racing on a stand , didn’t really have room for a rig, then I seen your video , bought a rig that day, took the shelves out and painted while I was waiting for it to arrive. Such a good idea , just gotta put some pictures up so the walls don’t look bare and it’ll be done 😊
Hey great vid! I would recommend you to left-foot brake, it will make you win some lap time here and there on every braking point. And your left foot would be on a more comfortable position. Also the shoes you are wearing have a very thick sole. I would recommend you to give a go to driving with shocks or if you do have a pair of shoes with a thin sole (like racing boots) you can give it a go.
I set mine in the corner and just use the PSVR2 for both ACC and GT7. GT7 of course gets the full VR setup but there’s also a theater mode for non vr games and the largest setting for the virtual monitor is perfect for my previous FOV.
I bought the PSVR2 but it made me sick using it and hated the fact it needs to stay in a certain position to get the clearest view. I bought it before I got GT7 so I may try it again
Love your setup! Im curious if you considered the TR8 pro at all? Im torn between that and the RS6. Im a casual racer with limited space. I need to be able to move the rig in my living room and my office
I checked out all options and the 6 worked best for me and the space, it’s very well built and I think most people who bought the 8 definitely could have gotten away with the 6
I have a 65inch tv but was wondering if there’s a stand that will hold that big of a tv. Reason why is because I’m upgrading my living room tv to a 77inch lg oled tv . I’m new to sim racing and I love gt7. I’ll probably play pc sim games as well in the future. Great video btw 👍🏻
I considered getting smaller at first as there were mixed opinions on size but i went with my gut and glad I went with the 55 because it's the perfect size especially for immersion. The size of the cars interior feels right with the size of the steering wheel
Hi Mike, i really like your video content ❤❤, I already follow you because of Tesla content videos. I am planning to get a sim racing too I had a thrustmaster t248p but want to upgrade for DD. is this new DD logetic better than Moza R9 or FANATEC pro DD?
Definitely better than the Fanatec Pro which only has 8nm of Torque and Moza 9nm, compared to Logitech’s 11. Also Logitech is the only one who has Trueforce and it’s insane, you can literally feel the groves in the road, car engine, tire grip and so much more. Plus it comes with wheel and base for one price. You can also use it for both pc and console, unlike Moza or Fanatec. Hope this helps!
@MikeSeussVlogs Yes, this really helps. i hope logetic will have other pro new product released soon for future upgrades like F1 wheels, handbrake and manual pro shifter soon
I did a quick search. This new Logetic pro is the best forced true feedback as it is compared with high end more expensive sim racing like the Leo Bodnar that's cost more than $4000. You did a great choice 👏 👍 👌
@MikeSeussVlogs Yeah, it takes a few adjustments and a lot of time to get used to it. Maybe if you decide to go the pc route in the future, you can try out some of the better vr options out there.
Nice setup... talk about going all in! Nice! Hope to see you on track on GT7 someday Edit: Cant find the PSN in description... i know im old and blind....lol
In total everything costs me $3,703 that includes the PS5 and game. But you can lower the cost by getting a different TV and maybe a PS4 Pro which gives you the same experience just without ray tracing
Not necessarily GT7 is great for this setup Assetto Corsa as well. GT7 hosts the largest competitive online racing platform supported by the international governing body of motorsport and the Fédération Internationale del'Automobile. If I had a motion sim that would be a different story and PC would be the better choice. But I’m curious as to why you consider its a “waste”..
It’s actually not too bad at all, everything is in a fixed position so there’s no need for any extra room, the seat is able to move forward and back all the way and there’s plenty room on both sides to get in and out, the monitor also has extra room to move further back as well!
