NGL I thought that towards the end of the 2b logic virus portion, they slow the virus progress so you always get there on time, but I guess not LOL. Never seen someone actually fail like that. Hilarious (and sad :( ) C is where crap hits the fan... We all had that same feeling when 2B's fate is unknown and that structure pops out of know where...like WHAT is going on, but its SO well done. It distills a sense of urgency, suspense, sadness, fear, amazement all at the same time. Best story in a video game I have ever played.

It’s been great watching you get through this journey! That 2B twist left my jaw on the ground but I felt it coming. A2 cut her hair as a way of mourning and paying her respects to 2B. A2 is such an amazing character too! I love the illusion of her design as well. It appears that she’s wearing clothes but it’s her damaged skin. The only cloth on her body is the one on her stomach. Pretty neat design.

Fun fact you can taunt with the other characters as well. Spamming your flashlight infuriates enemies the same way A2's hold square does

I couldn't play the game for a week after "that" scene with 2B. 😭

What the heck was that memory at the end? "Normally you'd be called... we'll be calling you 2B for the time." I smell secrets.

You noticed that there was 23% left of the air defenses, they give you one more machine while they bait you with "well, mission complete" so if you commit to that you can bring it down to 0% and get a reward from 210

I've finished this game many times and still remember how annoying that whole bunker section and especially the 2 androids before you play as A2 on very hard difficulty is i used to speedrun the game years ago and knowing the speedrun strats made it a lot easier but that one part still haunts me lol

So many great moments in this episode! 🤣😭 17:27 / 17:43 LMAOOOOOOO 💀 39:58 I have PTSD from this part. I think my game was bugged here because I couldn't hack 2B right away and she fuckin BOLTED. She would run away at full speed and I would get a bad ending (Ending O I think?) for trying to chase her down and it thought I was abandoning the mission. If you mess around or take too long rescuing the other YoRHa squads earlier in this section the machines will wipe them out and you'll get a bad ending too. Found that out the hard way. 1:14:18 I think this is the first direct in-game reference to weapon stories, at least in NieR. Drakengard may have addressed it, but idk. I mentioned before that NieR Reincarnation was heavy on weapon stories, because the weapons in this series somehow hold real records of humanity. Every weapon story retells events that happened somewhere in the multiverse timeline branches of Drakengard/NieR. And apparently Virtuous Contract holds 2B's records, so I guess it works for androids too!

One tip about the berserk mode for our A2, if you keep using health potions during it you can stay in the form for as long as you got stuff to heal her

ah Nier, where the game does not truly begin until the third playthrough.

This was a great session. So many amazing moments. One thing I have noticed though. During the flying segments of the game you are often trying to squeeze through tight spots to avoid taking damage. I think you may have forgotten you can dodge while flying as well. Tap R1 as you pass over a projectile, and it won't hit you.

About pods: if you hold the Power button long enough, it'll use both pods and make a more powerful attack. The cooldown will be longer though.
