The girl in orange blouse is my tribemate (Tooro), as well as my village mate! Ugandans are the most hospitable people in Africa. But even Ugandans will tell you our tribe is the most hospitable! I was happy to see that after Uganda, you travelled with her to Lagos! She's humble, simple and honest. She represented us exceptionally! I'm very proud of you both!

Simple people, very kind to everyone. You don't need a gun to feel secure in Uganda. All you need is to be human and express humility and Love. That's all you need, Just like Tommy. Its Indeed the pearl of Africa.

I have seen several videos of this guy touring Africa with the Lady in orange and wow she is such a beautiful and kind spirited woman 💜 She truly has a heart of gold and it shows everytime she smiles. Honestly, I hope her life will forever be by her side and keep her bright energy forever shining

21:08 -that's a fig tree. They arrive as saplings parasitic on a larger tree, and it becomes a climber, wreathing the tree in leaves like ivy. However that ivy slowly grows and grows, every mycelium becoming thicker and thicker until the original tree is literally strangled and entombed. In the end it rots and dies, leaving behind the encasing of the fig tree, that has now taken the former shape - but hollow.

I’ve been to Uganda twice. it’s so beautiful and the people are so amazing. I think about my friends there every day

You will never find an obesse person in our village. If they are obesse it's because they have a thyroid problem and do not know. Our mountains ⛰are our gym. In the US tho, first time I saw an obese person, I almost run away. I was so scared and to make matters worse this person was using a scooter to move around the store. I asked the person I was with why that person did just abandon the scooter and walk. To be honest I didn't know the human body could get big to the size of people in this America. When you go to a reaturant. Some of these obese people eat like their lives depended on it. Like the world is coming to an end. When they re done eating, they get up and breathlessly leave the resturant. In some restaurants in Uganda the server would tell them to their face that they need to loose that weight. Ugandans are bold they tell you right to your face. Bold but polite.

Honestly watching Tommy, Harald, Balds vlogs etcreally shows the real way to travel, travel doesn't have to be complicated with package tours and just visiting major cities and seeing what everyone else goes to see. Good travel is as simple as going to a random village, meeting local people, traveling the unbeaten path, spontaneous adventures, experiencing how other people live their lives in different countries. Something I'll keep in mind when I'm planning my next trip.

Thank you for embracing the African people, languages, culture, and the continent. I believe more white people should do as you are doing by going to Africa and try to understand the people, because most blacks are really cool. My father was white European and my mother was black African. My father was grumpy but my mother was cool. Thank you once again.

Bambi my country is beautiful especially in villages. It reminds me my village in central and how we could walk for hours and greeting everyone then in city you walk less and greet less.

In one place in Kenya it was a narrow country road track like that. an antelope came running past and so fast that thing it is intensely fast moving with long loping strides seemed like upwards of 60miles an hour easily that fast is what it seemed. the people were half laughing half squealing. It was awesome thing to see really wonderful. Small middle sized maybe it was a juvenile not sure never saw one before like that live in real time and maybe it was a gazelle.

That region has been suffering with massive landslides since l was born in 2000,and funny how the government doesn't help yet such calamities are meant to be solved by the government.... Almost every year people's houses are demolished and you can't blame them for settling again because this is their ancestral home obviously nobody wants to be arefugee🤦🏿‍♀️🤦🏿‍♀️.... Hopefully things will change in future

Ugandan are very friendly people, I met my wife in Uganda. She's the sweetest hard working woman I've ever met. Intelligent, beautiful and a heart of gold, she's a mugisu.

Some of my childhood was spent in Enttebbe after we moved up from Dar es Salaam, interesting to see how things have changed, it was a long time ago, about 60 years.
