In this video I show you how to compression test you engine. The procedure I show in this video would apply to pretty much any internal combustion engine but I'm specifically working on my 2008 BMW 335i with the N54 engine.

It's important to get a good compression tester, some of the cheaper ones will read low.
This would be very similar for the N52 as well.
