Before we forced them to wear body cameras, that number was ZERO. Since then, the number has skyrocketed. Either the cameras made cops WAY more violent or they have been lying for a couple centuries.

While it sucks that the guy passed away, it's absolutely not the officers' fault. They used reasonable force against a suspect resisting arrest, and his knee was on his back for less than 20 seconds. The guy was middle aged, out of shape and overweight and probably died from a pre-existing heart condition. Calling the cops evil just shows your intense and irrational hatred of all police. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Pretty sure restraining someone doesn't require that positioning of the knee, this isn't wrestling, and even that has rules. Also, no, you don't get to victim blame and act like one side has all the responsibility and police get off scot free because "Their jobs are dangerous," When you act like someone is overreacting and you trivialize their experience that is likely a mental health crisis brought on by alcohol abuse, then yeah, I think it's safe to say you're at least callous, if not evil in how you dismiss someone's suffering, lacking in even basic empathy

@@ToHoldNothing Did you even watch the video? The guy was violent, and resisted arrest strongly. The cops used reasonable force to cuff him and get him under control. The knee was on his back for less than 20 seconds, and it wasn't even full body weight. If the exertion the guy was putting out caused his heart to fail, be it from heart disease or drugs, how in the world is that the cops fault? Granted, after seeing how still he was laying after fighting back so hard the cops should have checked to make sure that he was ok, but in no way was his death caused by intentional or "evil" as Rick Strom put it, actions by the police.
