Correct. Men’s biggest power is the ability to withdraw attention and resources and walk away. Women are absolutely terrified of men being able to walk away which is why the laws are what they are. Preserving your ability to walk away from a situation unscathed, whether it’s relationships, family, friends, or work is true power and true freedom.

marriage is a major gamble for men nowadays. Nothing will destroy a man more than a divorce. With lifetime alimony there are lifelong consequences to this.

@@topsykretts2264 Even businesses have contingency plans, so why shouldn't individuals have an emergency fund and/or safety net? Isn't retirement funds (401K, IRA, etc.) essentially a safety net for old age? It makes no sense to not have multiple layers of safety, whether you are male or female.

Depending on the study the numbers range from 70 to 90 percent women file for divorce. I took 80 as a middle ground for brevity of the post.

Actually he’s rarely wrong. He’s spot on most of the time and with your “Dr. Platitude” disrespect what you don’t realize is he’s pretty much saved my mental health while going thought crazy physical health challenges. He’s an extremely needed and helpful mental health expert exactly why Dave hired him and sought him out. Dave was the one who literally took Delony out of the college sweating to do this. He’s done a lot more than you think. He’s worked in a clinical setting counseling, he’s worked with police officers doing death notifications and crisis response. You have no idea what you’re talking about when you say he’s just a one trick pony.

I can honestly say I have never heard Dr. D say “Are you tired?” On his show because as much as I love him that was a question that was just stupid. Everyone is tired. However, your disrespect says more about you then him because he’s an amazing, kind, empathetic, and genuine guy who also has a ton of experience and knowledge.
