+Ashwin Chawla Hi, yes absolutely! It probably moved me from CEFR A1 up to almost CEFR B1! I made three review videos about Babbel on my playlist here ru-vid.com/group/PLbODW-Ywtw04n-2OxJqHdrNvxqdC5cKPz if you want to see more about how it works :) Hope this helps.
+Aurella Thank you! I found your playlist the other day! I am planning on studying abroad in paris for semester so I am trying to brush up on my french! Love your channel your story about learning french is very similar to mine barring me finding french boyfriend. Which would be ideal. haha thanks again!
Hi everyone, I have received lots of lovely messages about this video! You can try Babbel before you subscribe here: bit.ly/Babbel72 (affiliate) and you can see me testing my Babbel knowledge a year later here: goo.gl/s0pMxl Have a great day!!
Hi _essie_505, The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages describes intermediate (B1) as: 1. Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. 2. Can deal with most situations likely to arise while travelling in an area where the language is spoken. 3. Can produce simple connected text on topics that are familiar or of personal interest. 4. Can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans. You should be able to have simple but clear conversations about topics that arise in your life frequently. Hope this helps!
Hi Danny Wolf, At the time of making this video my French level was lower B1. I'm now upper B1/low B2 and you can see my French speaking level on my French speaking videos playlist: : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-85jFCOnIQ6w.html
hello i was told by people that the payment for babble is really bad. some people were getting over charged even when they canceled there subscription. what was your experience?
Hi Brodie, between 2015 and 2016 I purchased 2 x 1 month subscriptions and 3 x 3 month subscriptions and I never experienced any problems with payment. After you purchase a subscription it's important to go into your account settings and make sure it's not set to auto-renew, but this is very easy to do. Hope this helped :)
So, I'm trying to take the French CEFR placement test and it tells me to click under the drawing to hear the audio but there's nthing to click. What do I do?
