funny thing is there was someone or something on a netherack pillir that happens to be caght on camra around the time of the explosions there was just someone whaching him and if he noticed he probably would have been hunted
I want a part 2. Thing is...you keep running from that lava wall. you cannot. It surrounds spawn entirely. Cross it and you have officially escaped spawn.
This is so surreal. It’s like walking through an apocalyptic world where you’re the only one left, finding mysterious remnants of the past as you walk. The music just adds to it, too.

A week ago i just clicked join and I joined instantly because the server crashed a few seconds before i clicked. Best 5 mins of my life, then the server crashed again
@@uumuu1 The one time I tried to play 2B2T I had to wait for around 4 hours. When I finally got in, I left after 30 minutes because I was making no progress and didn't want somebody else to kill me. I do want to try playing on the server again, I'm just waiting till I have money so that I can pay for the priority queue.
But the risk of walking into one of those trap nether portals that have obsidian infront of you so your stuck there until someone kills you is pretty high
It is a Thing, They literally do it with Enchanting Tables and Other Items. It's Been Explained by Fit quite a few times. Plus, Furnaces are a better way to Ban someone.
@@draconisfiresworn4240 you need a block to place a block on it. You can only build a tunnel across a ravine if you look back and sneak, you cant do that when there is lava where you want to sneak. I dunno if im clear? 😂
You should revisit this cause there is an “official “ category on speedrun.com for 2b2t spawn Escapes and under that an escape is considered as getting 10,000 blocks away from spawn (0,0) in any direction as fast as possible
I remember the days of tb2t. The days where an entire pocket edition sized portion of the map was literally only made of crafting tables. Though pure chaos I missed the days of trading my wears to the locals in that area before the place was burned down
FITMC has an amazing channel that focuses on 2b2t and the many spawn traps they set up! They recently just flooded the entire spawn drowning all new playeda
7:25 that's for horses actually, players use a hack that lets their horses run on the water, and another to make them go as fast as their rendering can keep up, which is why it's so big.
From what I know about the community it is fairly dead although there are veteran players that want to hold on to the old feel of the server and having newer people join ends up ruining that.
as a veteran player of 2b2t, i have absolutely no problem with new players joining. i know other veterans and i want to keep the server alive, and the only way to do that is if new people join. some veterans are just so horrible and hypocritical these days. “i want to keep the server alive!!!” and yet when new people join in order to make the server alive, they immediately kill them. the whole server has been ruined for me tbh because of the toxic veteran players.
"I waited an hour to get in here, it's hard to get in here" cries in 8 hour queue time only to be disconnected for the sheer amount of lag on the server
I used future client when I was on 2b2t I HIGHLY RECCOMEND GOING INTO THE NETHER the nether highways are your saving grace after a couple thousnad blocks i would go through more portals some have food
@@athemulu thats why u play it smart u hide a bed far away from a nether exit as a way to "save ur progress" plus if you have been traveling enough and ur using future client u should have full diamond gear and an ender chest filled with backup gear.
The hardest thing of escaping spawn isn't the terrain, the traps, the lava wall, the enemy players,... . It's the freakin lag that kicks you from time to time, forcing you to start over again and wait hours to be able to get back in.
I was so annoyed you didn't use f3 to look at your coordinates or see what direction you were heading. At the end you literally found a canal that takes you directly away from spawn yet you went the wrong way and went back towards spawn. Still a good video just was yelling at my computer. lol
@@EazySpeezy would love to see a video trying it again and love your content. No hate here. Just watch a lot of 2b2t content so was just frustrating watching someone a little more inexperienced lol. As jealous that you even got on the server. Every time I try to get on it’s like a 7 hour wait time.
If you decide to make a part 2, I’d suggest going through the Nether Portals... There’s a reason spawn is filled with them. Most people that I’m aware of set up camp a few million or so blocks away from spawn, quickest way to get that far is by traversing through The Nether on account of every block travelled while in there being equivalent to ~3 blocks traveled in The Overworld; which is why they set up a sort of highway through The Nether to various parts of The Overworld.

I definitely want a part 2. One of the more popular 2b2t speed runs is trying to get one piece of protection 4 diamond armor. Also, the place made for boats you were traveling on was the Southern Canal.
That map gives me a creeby feeling. It must be what finding ruins for the 1st time is like, knowing something was here once but it has been so long barely anthing remains.
It would be so nice if a squad of people went further and tried to bring peace again. Lile planting trees near the spawn and placing blocks in spawn. It would be so hard but I think if a bunch of nice people try it they can do it
when i was escaping spawn i was lucky enough to find a shulker with some food and supplies... otherwise i have no clue how i would’ve gotten out, that box saved me.
I've only gotten in once, back in 2018 i think, and someone had left saplings planted in the center of spawn. i grabbed 1, and walked until i ran out of hunger, planted the tree, and got an apple. By that time the melon farms had all been destroyed, so I got pretty lucky.
@@EazySpeezy what fitmc tells you, is not what happens on the server, there won't be a hitman, you won't get backdoored asap, and yeah, fitmc is targetted for his reaction, nothing else.
The thing is you have to go through the nether because it has a giant highway or you're gonna have to go straight through the lava wall that surrounds spawn
At spawn there is a zone where all the whithers get caught in. The very edge is the most dangerous, but once you get inside, the whithers cant cope with so many of them existing at once, the amount of items being loaded, all the hell that is spawn THEY CANT HANDLE IT! So once you breached the outer edge of the wither zone, you can walk one block close to three withers, and there so bloated and lethargic, they cant attack you
So by reading comments I've found out that 1) the lava wall surrounds spawn, and 2) if you can make it into the Nether there are highways and you can get out more quickly and find a portal back. But I say, that's what they're expecting you to do. I think you were close to making it out another way, because you managed to find trees and get a wooden pickaxe. If you can get as many stone blocks as possible before your pickaxe breaks, and maybe even make a new one to snag a few more, you might be able to build a stone ceiling to make a pathway through the wall. I'm not sure how block placing is restricted by direction, so it probably isn't that simple, but maybe you could pull it off!
I think FitMC actually made a video about chunk traps designed to kick players out and (in effect) make it impossible to rejoin. It was something about furnaces overloading chunk limits, so when you're near enough you're causing the server to lag, so the server kicks you out... but when you join again, it overloads again so it kicks you out.
to "escape spawn" the best clarifier is if you can build a house with a decent amount of food and let me tell you im pretty sure that in order to to that whole food thing you litterally need to use the nether or you might starve to death
