This is the FINAL FANTASY IV FREE ENTERPRISE Randomizer!! It's much like most randomizers where everything is mixed up, only in this one you START with the Airship and can go anywhere you want! Straight to Mt. Ordeals, or deep into the Tower of Zot. I have to find all the party members, level up, and defeat Zeromus!

You may be joking at 1:20 about your value, but tbh I really enjoy these vids. They're fun to watch. Sometimes a wonderful contribution to the world *can be* to be that guy people tune into in order to just chill and relax and "hang out" while he plays some games and chats. I'm sure others who tune in would agree.

There are things you just have to resign yourself to. Death is inevitable. Taxes are inevitable. Whatever you're cooking, you're never going to put enough butter in or on it. Those two Stardust rods are never going to be equipped on either of the two Rydias. That Eblan chest is never going to be opened.

you contribute to society. Seeing someone enjoy these older gems (and not so) of games does genuinely brighten my day during the most trying times. It isn't much but it never had to be much. That's the thing that's really missing from modern games. The connection is one thing- the inside joke here or running gag there that makes sense only to the inside group (lalli-ho, for example). There's more to it than that. People really do get something from these games and watching playthroughs can sometimes spark an old memory or just that first experience all over again. Then again...

I don't like modern games because the graphics are too fancy. "Primitive" (SNES) graphics are special. I can go as high as N64 or GameCube. Modern games look like you're playing real life. Or worse than real life. There's too much stuff flying around all over the place, like glitzy light and particle effects and stuff. It's distracting, cluttered, ugly.

Legend Sword was in the Antlion Cave with IIRC an easy Orb/CPU boss, which you did once previously but before one of the times you died at Mt. Ordeals without saving, so you lost it.

Yep, every kingdom in Final Fantasy 4 is five letters long. Baron, Eblan, Fabul, Troia, Damcyan... Yes, Damcyan is five letters long. Their people disagreed with this fact, so they were politely persuaded by the local Red Wings to change their mind. The survivors of that polite conversation now fully understand their kingdom has five letters in it.

I had a crap ton of usb problems on an ASUS MB with an 8th gen i5, and after 6 months of fighting it it was because of XMP on the ram. turning that off fixed all the USB problems.

Oh man, watching him highlight the grayed out legend sword and it telling him it's in the antlion nest (which also has Cecil's best sword!) was slightly painful. It doesn't really matter too much though, since he isn't using his Cecil anyway. Plus, he has Excalibur, which is the 2nd best sword, so there isn't too much lost there. And who knows what the item behind the legend sword might be.

I wish getting multiple summon orbs would reduce the cost of summoning. So that way there would be a reason to get multiple summon orbs. So if you get like 5 bahamuts (Which I tend to get a lot of in these randomizers), you could reduce the cost by a certain percent.

Rydia is my favorite FF character. What an epic backstory... Cecil kills her mom, destroys her village, loses her to a sea monster... and she turns out extremely well adjusted and able to summon Bahamut.

That chest in Eblan, i believe theres a secret path one step before exiting the door that you enter from.

IIRC Poison in FFIV hits for 1/8 of your max HP per tick, and how long each tick takes depends on your Vit stat. It doesn't advertise it, but completing the Tower of Zot also teaches all Rosas the Exit spell. (This event is also how she learns it in vanilla FFIV.)

if you are scared of building a computer and something not working, you could buy a prebuilt and ask them to test it for you. will it be more expensive? yeah, but you are buying peace of mind at that point

Jared it probably doesn't matter but the entrance to find that chest you missed in Eblan is like one step north of the door out. You have to go right just before exiting the room.

The chest left in Eblan can be reached by going towards the door but not exiting. Got a secret passage to the right to reach it.

Legend, Location, Antilion Cave (it is written right there). three items in yellow to tell them you have but did not use yet, one of them being the pan - telling you where to use it. "guess I have no choice but to go to the moon" ... I don't remember, if he goes there can he even come back to do those? or is he stuck ending the game?

You worry too much about computer upgrades Jared. Rather than upgrade your PC in place, build a full new one alongside it so you can get it set up and configured, and fully tested before replacing your regular one. That'll take all the stress off you as nothing will be lost while you're getting the new one ready for prime time. With a PC with an 8th gen or 9th gen CPU, building an entirely new PC may be the best way to go anyway. You have a lot of years on components in your current PC that often get kept with in place upgrades like the power supply where replacing it can get you a more energy efficient one and you may have to replace it anyway since newer GPUs are more power hungry than the ones from when the 8th gen and 9th gen CPUs were new. Also consider getting yourself a SAN (like a Synology or something similar) for storing all your data off your computer. Not only does it make replacing computers less stressful for your data, the multiple drives in it gives you redundancy for protection against data loss.

Not to mention, you'll have a working backup PC just in case. Or you can take the old PC and turn it into a Linux PC if you wanted to ever cover the Linux gaming front on your channel as another way to get more views. Linux is a popular trend going on now given all the controversial decisions Microsoft has been making with Windows.

Just FYI, Virus and Quake are your best multi-target black magic spells (aside from exploiting weaknesses). Nuke is the best single target. Bahamut is obviously best but is expensive.

I'm surprised you still have 8th or 9th gen PC parts. Moreso that they still work considering just how much you use them. Intel now has "E cores and P cores", so for people like you who have recording stuff and video game stuff going at the same time, the camera freezing won't, hopefully, happen since the CPU has the space to handle it all. I also agree with another comment about just buying a new PC/pre-built PC due to more power draw from the newer parts and peace of mind that if something does go wrong with the new PC, you have a warranty from the pre-built company to just send you a new one if it doesn't work. Also, maybe keeping the one you have now as a backup would also help.

I feel you on the computer thing. I finally got a new laptop around New Year's to replace my 15-year-old workhorse, and after a few months it started having problems. A few months later and the problems got so bad it was basically unusable, so at the moment I'm waiting for it to come back from a factory warranty repair and praying that it's actually fixed and not just "we ran a couple tests and it seems okay, idono" fixed. I just want a rig I can trust and not worry about at all, you know?

About your computer thing at the beginning of the video, you can buy a new computer and keep your old one just in case the new one doesn't work. If you buy a new one and you set it up and it's all nice and fancy and it works you can then get rid of your old one. If you plan on upgrading the current one by switching out parts then yes that could be a problem if something happens. I would recommend just getting a whole new one If you're not confident that you can do upgrades safely

I know that according to the DS version Cecil's name is pronounced Seh-sel but I can't remember if Yang's is like Yong or like Yin-Yang. Personally I always use Sea-sel and Yang but I don't really think it matters, it's all just personal preference and whatever pronunciation you enjoy more.

Don't you get that treasure in Eblan by walking towards the door, but before you enter it while you're hidden behind the wall you can walk to the right? I love the music in FF4, the boss music is great, overworld is great, cave music is great (and remixed in FFX, which is even greaterer)

Honestly, that Rydia in the front is kind of ruining the whole series for me. If he keeps her there throughout this episode I might just be all done and unsubscribe from this channel, again. There's shenanigans and then there's just purely choosing to be stupid. It's not fun watching somebody who just makes the worst decisions possible always. I took a break from this channel last time during the legend of Zelda 2 playthrough where he was at like one hit left of health and jumped over a red potion and left the screen all the while complaining about being low on health. You can only be so bad at a game before it's obviously just a bit, but bits have to be funny not just rage bait.

Just have two work computers and upgrade them in a staggered pattern and duplicate the data. I would have a backup system if it was my main source of income.
