@@hulahoop3924 first of all You r talking abt algal bloom which happens when a lot of algae forms wich is due to regular addition of phosphate or nitrate near factories Second this lead to eutrophication which only happens when the water is covered by dead algae and microorganisms consume it and use up oxygen and no sunlight enters here is a clearly different story. Please check your facts as someone might mistake it for truth 👍

Same, my filter even broke and the water is still crystal clear. Granted, I understock the tank (15 gallon, fully planted, 1 betta and a handful of ramshorns snails)

Dose fertilizer and cycle equally. The cycle adds some bacterias, but don't add too much if you have shrimps, barbs or plecs

@@alexandredauphinais9874 I still don't have any fish in there. Tank has been cycled for at least 3 weeks or more. Tank took longer to cycle even though I had established media because my Anubias had root rot and it caused kH to disappear and pH to drop heavily stalling cycle at the start. Got rid of it, and within a day poof tank was cycled. Crushed coral helped stabilize everything too in filter media bag, and removed it and no longer need it since whatever was causing the kH and pH issues are gone.
