Everyone needs a BUMP UP IN LIFE every now and then! Amon is a GREAT GUY that Treats Everyone EQUAL! Lets Help My Friend Pete continue to make GREAT VIDEOS like this and Visit the Merchandise Shelf above this comment.. Show your support and buy a shirt or sticker or coffee cup or something.... Thanks for watching!
Pete have you ever tried tamco paint products? They’re pretty reasonable on price but I’d like to get your unbiased opinion on them. Thanks for all you do 👍
This is a proud example of what a young man can do in America. Amon knows his products, what sells, how to price it and give you a good price that helps the customer and allows him to work hard and still make a living in the Free-Market economy. God Bless the one who takes his business seriously regardless of background, parents country, light, dark, brown or purple poke a dots. I would be proud to shake his hand, make a friend and get a couple of boxes of products from Amon. If he had a website, some photos, prices, he could triple his sales in 6 months! Best of luck Amon! You are the American we are all proud of!
Noticed the " Now Hiring " sign, Im retired and would love to work there. What a great place, and a knowledgeable owner that dosent have his head up his ass like most.
I DIY and it is important to have a supplier you trust that knows what they are doing for your particular situation so that you don't need to hunt down the best recommendation. My paint supplier visited my house prior to my first paint restoration on a 1985 Corvette and even let me use paint guns and spent time on the paint gun with me. Amazing service!
Pete this video came out just in time, stopped in Last week for the first time, Amon is great, we talked about where I was in my car restoration project, kinda what my thoughts were, one thing he stressed was do the bottom of the the car FIRST, I know nothing about paint, but he said he is willing to answer any questions I had, looking forward to getting my car finishes done right with Color Techs help.
Jake, I agree that Amon needs a website so all of us could help a guy doing such a good job. We had competition in our city then it was purchased. This leaves one store at two locations that do not give anyone a deal. 10% off their prices for low volume shops like Pete. As a guy off the street, I can expect to pay double the cost of the exact same product, sold on eBay. I couldn’t find my package of tack rags as I hang one up and dry out a little. Went into this store and they wanted $29.99 for an brand i have never heard of. Package of 3. I bought a package of 10 from home store made by “Minwax” for $3.98 listing automotive. Man these worked nice. But alway use micro-fiber with 70% isopropyl. What could be better than America and the free market? A hard working one man business! Love Amon’s get-R-done attitude.
you have no idea how fortunate you are to be able to purchase supplies at such a great price. We here in Atlantic Canada pay almost 3 times what you do and the big guys have bought out all the small guys to eliminate competition
I tried the ms-52 after watching my friend Pete use it and I love it. I was having lots of orange peel but this stuff lays down nice with minimum color sanding and buffing needed.
Thanks Pete for the tip. I'll give him a call as I'm working on bodywork for the first time and will probably make a lot of mistakes. I was looking into TCP Global for supplies, but willing to give Amin a call.
Makes me want to drive up from tulsa, in fact may be going to Crowley soon, gonna stop by and pick up some matrix and raptor !!! My friend pete sent me for a 5% discount 😀
Tamco products are FAR superior to ANYTHING out there. Customer service is over the top! The prices will blow you away. I was PPG only, did a few Matrix jobs. I been doing this a bit longer than you Pete. We are from the same neck of the woods when young. I probably seen ya down on 16th cruising. At least take a look at there website. I don’t advertise for ANYBODY, unless it’s over the top good. Take a look at my brothers dart I posted. It’s on there website under AG900.
Ahh the memories of living in Richardson TX and going to autonomy school.... where they teach u What you can & not have for lunch by alcoholics no less. I only learned frame straightening. When I brought in my race camero in to learn to paint things got out of hand. I was there to learn not have my cars covered in human ants touching.... not a sheepeople Pete... they got pissed because I trailered my cars in and out. They wanted me to leave my race car there... guess who finally painted it? Not the auto body school... i learned to prep the car from your videos. I even showed my class those who wanted to see it. You guessed it i spent alot of tie in what they called the principles office... hello im and adult this ain't nursing school no one changes my messed underwear I have to clean myself when shit happens. Dallas auto school went out of business few yrs later. My race car got painted by Earl S.... life time warranty but thats another story my Friend paint. Guess how many time I had that car painted..... rofl. Course I fixed the problem areas. .. i just went for different colors ; )
One word, tamco, call them, they got some killer clears and etm and eta, I think over 250 free shipping, it’s better than matrix and cheaper, family own and operated, very knowledgeable people, I order some epoxy, base, clear and the way they ship it, box inside a box with all the cheese doodles, you could’ve dragged that shit from Virginia and it would’ve been fine, excellent packaging
Recent video - and no masks - HMMMM - better to be safe than sorry people. HA - stops everyone spitting on each other when they tallk. Have a nice day all. CHEERS from AUSTRALIA.
I miss all the girls at Auto Paint And Equipment Company in Colorado Springs. Their prices were reasonable and they were so much fun to go see. I moved to Lake Havasu City Az a little over three years ago and the paint stores here are fucking joke. There is a parts store that sells Dupont / Nason but no experts and I don't know or really care for the products. The PPG supplier is not a premier supplier so no Shop Line which I prefer, only Omni, Deltron $$$$, Enviro or Aqua what ever the fuck base and Pro One. Last time I bought some DBC 500 with reducer was right at $400.00, seems a little bend me over and fuck me up the ass priced. They say Omni is the same as Shop Line { you have to have a shop to buy, give me a fucking break } but it mixes different and smells different. What do I know? I'm just a do it my selfer at home, poor and un experienced, take it dry up the as kind of guy.
I've heard horror stories about Wanda paint. I used to sell Matrix and Lusid (GenRock/GenMax) paints. I preferred Lusid; better matching, and WAY better reps. The Matrix reps I dealt with were arrogant SOBs.
@@PnwOnTour i welded in patch panels and put filler over the ground down welds but still had bare spots around the area so I used etching primer and was told it would mess up the filler, this is my own personal car I've had for 17 years and just wanted to try some body and paint I'm finding out is more scientific then I thought
My friend Pete this is my friend Carmine lucchese coming at you saying how you doing and just to let you know I could use those so-called generic paint guns and I'll out paint 98.9.11% of the professional painters out there just to let you know my friend Carmine I'm out
