For elevating your pork tenderloin I've got an odd but really good one Pitmaster. Stuff 'em with smoked salmon, goat cheese and pine nuts, along with dill, smoked paprika and pepper. Roll it up, coat with mustard and then wrap in Parma ham or even bacon.

You're right, super underrated and easy to find. I actually just had a pork tenderloin last night (with plenty leftover for today's lunch). Great tip with flipping/tying down the tail. I think a lot of people forget or skip that step. Definitely need to do that to get an even cook.

My family and I have been enjoying Pork tenderloin a lot recently. My goto recipe is a shake made of 2 tbsp Extra Dry Sherry, 1 Tbsp Hearty Burgundy (Pinot Noir), 1 Tbsp Oil, 1/2 Tsp Garlic Salt, 1/2 Tsp Onion Salt, and 1/4-1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper I put the loin on a hot grill and shake on some of the shake and then cover for 1:30, open up the grill, rotate the meat and sprinkle again and close. I repeat this until the meat starts to take on a good color and then start testing the temps. I take the meat of at 140F and wrap in a foil envelope (so that the juice doesn't leak out) for at least 10 minutes. Slice it up into medallions and serve.

I grill or smoke a whole pork tenderloin 1 a month you can throw alot of seasoning and take to 24 hour marinades very well

My mom always made pork tenderloin the star of the show, mosly with a brandy cream sauce, some bakes potatoes and brussel sprouts. And she made awesome pork tenderloin sate too (still does!)

Will give this a go, we always use nothing but salt and pepper on these and let the smoke add some flavour. The solomillo de cerdo iberico here in Spain is amazing.

Just salt & pepper, then wrap in applewood smoked bacon. Put on Smoker at 250 until 140 degrees. The best pork tenderloin ever.

As always very nice video and inspiration. I buy my pork meat from my local butcher and it really has a good taste. Next step would be to look for Iberico, Mangalica or Schwäbisch-Hällisches Landschwein (sorry - no translation possible for that very special kind of pork, only available in Southern parts of Germany).

One of my favorite tenderloin dishes is the Hoosier Tenderloin sandwich. Very popular throughout the US Midwest. No doubt inspired by snitzel, lots of Germans immigrants settled in that area.

the problem with pork fillet is the same with beef fillet ie no fat ... the secret to adding flavour is for slicing thin layers of fat and covering the fillet then tying it then cooking it

FEED IT TO THE DOG??? Back when I was a kid, we rarely had the tenderloin, because it was expensive! Absolute best meat for me and absolutely fast to make. Try to fry it in the pan on hot heat, then deglaze with a mix of Balsamico Vinegar and White Whine and add a stem of rosemary to it until the whole liquid is gone and thickened up.

Here in Philippines sir we blow torch it or bbq it in a while. Our target is medium rare. Slice it to small pieces mixing it onion bulbs, ginger, salt, lime and a small amount of vinegar we mix it together tada hehe

Ive been to one higher end restaurant that focused on pork, although tenderloin was not necessarily the star of the show it made me think why are more restaurants not making great pork dishes. This place made absolutely phenomenal high end plates.

I personally recommend to fry the pork tenderloin on the pan and about a 1-2 minutes before the end(ofc it depends how you want your meat cooked, I like to keep it on medium), put some chopped onions below the tenderloin and fry it until they become glossy. The meat shouldnt get overcooked but keep the warmth and get the flavour of the onions.

Come to Indiana. There’s thousands of restaurants that have a prized tenderloin, they are cubed, butterflied, breaded and fried. It’s the state food I think.
