Seriously. It’s hard to fit in everything you want, and for me it’s need to do. I work in a warehouse and it’s very labor intensive so stretching is very important
30 minute to an hour long yoga session will get you almost everything all these fitness tubers are talking about. Crazy how not a single one of these tubers ever stops and says "we took this from the yogic arts. Were just doing yoga poses". Literally. Almost all of these stretches, mobility/strengthening exercises are all just yoga poses that these folks are just co-opting.
I do this because of your 10 minute mobility video! I have a coach, I love lifting, but your stretching and form tips have fucking changed my powerlifting game and lessened my soreness and pain so much!!
We did very similar stretches every day when I was in tech training. It really is a fantastic stretch and I think my current injuries have a lot to do with me getting bogged down with work when I should have been doing targeted PT. No use in being bothered about it though. All we have is the future, and I have faith mine can be pain free like it used to. Good luck to anyone who read this. You can do it
Is there a compilation of all these great stretches and hip correction exercises? There are so many… and everyone always claims it’s the best one to do. I also don’t see much on ankle mobility. Is ankle mobility not a factor if you have good hip mobility?
Thanks for letting me know, now I won’t be doing this as when you do Yoga you allow demons legal authority to enter your body by doing these poses. Yoga is a common practice in Hinduism and Yoga means to ‘yoke’ or to unite with spirits. If you’re not connecting with the Holy Spirit that means you’re connecting with the opposite, the Antichrist spirit- an unclean spirit. Anyways, this pose looked too extra for me to do anyways lol
As much as I agree that you shouldn’t allow unclean spirits in your body as a follower of Christ, I find it hard to believe that stretching, something God gave us the ability to do, which physically benefits us, is doing that. But idk
@@nick4thelightThat's not true. All you have to do is Google it. It's the union of mind and body, and man and nature. Also, my sister stopped meditating because "it's not allowed in Christianity". That's also not true. I hope you take the time to seek out multiple sources.
I always do this stretch before I go into my leg day. It is perfect , I also warm up the glutes and do some hip opening + warm up. It is the best before you squat
I don't think I've ever followed so many videos of a dude I love his advice/tips and absolutely hate his taste in music. So needless too. Using some if his models in other videos, now I get the point haha
Thank youuuuuuuuuu , i just experienced something akin to a miracle while following the stretching instructions ! I can't tell you how elated it felt to move my body in a way I haven't been able to in i wanna say over a year ❣️❣️❣️
@@Its.Jxst.J wow really that's fascinating ! Thanks for sharing that. It's kinda miraculous in itself isn't it? because it stretches so many things in such a supported stable way, only taking a few minutes...
This is such a great stretch and not talked about enough. It gets not only your back and chest, but it's a nice way to open your hips and get some good hip to knee rotation.
fuck. I love your song choice. I literally play the calmest and sweetest love songs when doing medium-rep workouts. But, I play prog metal or djent songs when doing my low-rep PRs.
what keeps me going trying to address my back pain is seeing people with free mobility and remembering what my body felt like as a child before all the unhealthy things hurt it .
Can I just join on the channel from sheer randomness of doing these stretches and exercises lol swear I’ve been doing this not knowing it’s an actual stretch it just feels good to do
Good stretch, but for me the most fundamental ones are to touch your toes (and alot further if you can ofcourse), sphinx pose, splits sideways and forwards/backwards, and glute stretch. The main pivots for your body is your hips and your back, and they give you the most functional flexibility. While this is great, I do believe most people should work on those four/five basics first as they will increase your mobility and quality of life incredibly with the smallest amount of effort. Ofcourse, if you put alot of effort into stretching then your life is going to be so much better 👍
when you say squeeze your glute - which one? Do we press our back leg into the ground? Do we let out knee touch the ground or not? How far do we push the knee? Do we resist the push with the leg? Struggling to get this one to do anything for me
Take it easy Squeeze the glute of the hip you are opening actively not the other one into the ground The knee on the ground should just be resting Don’t resist opening the hip Open it with your hand and the glutes at the same time therefore activating it I hope you get it
The greatest stretch is my favorite of all time. For extra challenge, I keep my back leg as straight as possible, working and stretching my quads and core while getting the stretch
I've never heard anyone say that hip mobility can be related to knee problems - makes sense - seems like a lot of people could have saved themselves some surgery if they did some physiotherapy
There's nothing wrong with the movement itself, but it does not replace a warm-up. Stretching too virogously when the body is cool can lead to serious injury under the wrong circumstances. Always warm up first (or begin with gentler movement than this).
The first step to pain is stretch. (Mine is to smack the area repeatedly in hopes of convincing my brain and body through pain, intimidation, and dominance that it should remove the pain or experience more, this is extremely effective for headaches, be advised, having a very hard head generally is necessary) Then stretch some more. Then do some research. Stretch some More.
Thank God 💯 family 💯💞Good lookin out for my knees bc u know ur gurl is always working on herself. I am always stretching, working out dancing, running, lifting weights, doing yoga pelatees, and much more bc it's a lifestyle, not hypestye soThank you for just being you and always being family to me 💯💖🧡🖤🧡1family 1love 💯 💖💞
Did it once and my back is already popping 😂 I can stretch my right leg out fine but not left leg as much. Imma do this everyday and hopefully it helps
Maybe different stretch levels? Leg on the ground for lesser mobility/pain when doing the stretch, leg off the ground when mobility returns/pain decreases for a deeper stretch?
I got so good at this that I can do it full pigeon, flat on the floor. Even when my weight fluctuates. It's something the body likes and never forgets. :)
For thise of us who has osteoarthritis i do try to strengthening exercises for my knees and i am unfortunately a candidate for knee replacement In the mean time is there still a ey to strengthen the muscles around my knee Cannot do full squats let a lone partial ones anymore
