I love watching your vlog, it reminds me of the Rancho I partially grew up in Michoacan. What I find so impressive is that you and your children have adapted so nicely, it's not easy and you and your children make it look so effortlessly. Your kids are so respectful and don't seem to complain about the different life style. I know people that grew up in Mexico and when they go back from the states complain and act like they are above rancho life. I applaud you and your family for embracing this new beautiful life. Para la banda. Puedes dividirlo entre 2 padrinos. 1 paga las 2 primeras horas y otro las ultimas horas. Que no te de pena buscar padrinos. Ya que la idea de tenerlos. No Es solo para los gastos. En realidad los padrinos se vuelven parte de la familia. Ellos se convierten como unos terceros padres de la quinceanera. Seran tus compadres!

Traditions from my country are truly unique. It’s great to see your family and you embrace a different culture. As for the music for your upcoming quince…. It is expensive. $10,000 pesos is a bit too much though. But since you live one hour away from Ocotaln they’re charging you the mileage . You might be able to save just a bit by hiring a mariachi that’s about eight people. You can find one for about $500. Which gets you under $10,000 pesos. Remember. The smaller the group, the least expensive . But don’t get one with less than eight musicians . Hope this helps. Best of luck to your daughter on being queen for her school.

This was the cutest video. I love all your videos but this one was just super cute ❤. I remember when I was a kid going to Mexico, they make everything over the top. I remember wishing I could live there all the time. Maybe when I retire in a couple of years my wish will come true. 😊

What you can also do is get multiple families as “padrinos” for one big thing too like mariachi or Banda etc instead just asking only be family for the big ones. Edited : like for my 15 I asked my family’s soccer team it was a bunch of uncles and cousins and friends of the family if they can be responsible of the Banda. And it all worked out and they split it between all of them.

Quincenera is a one time special moment, besides getting married. It's not cheap and people go all out. The least amount I've seen people pay was $20,000. That's why usually people start to save money is at least 5 years before their 15th Birthday. You need to have a padrino/padrina. If you start it, you have to have it all. Or don't have the party. It's like getting married but without a husband. Doesn't make since. As parents we have to sacrifice our wants and cravings in order to save money for your children special moment. Going out to eat, right there you can be saving. Candy, sodas. Ice cream all of that is money that could of went towards your daughter becoming a young woman. Parents is the ones that brought their children into this world. They never asked. It bothers me when people say "well, why does this and that have to be so expensive". You know what is expensive, buying goats. They need to be fed, they need to get shots, lice medication. Oh, if an animal gets sick there goes more money out the window. I'm pretty sure you all could of waited till after the party to purchase goats, that is NOT ready to be used for milk. FYI, usually when a family moves out of the country, they tend to do research and save money before moving. I know a guy that is moving back to Mexico and he's taking his wife and their baby. And so far they have saved $41,000 US dollars. He knows that's not enough to get them going.
