This is probably the most niche project I have featured on the channel, but hopefully you all still enjoy my discussion on the issues and modifications of this kit.

DISCLAIMER: I am not paid to promote any specific products or brands; I just use the products I find work best for me through my experiences. There is no reason for me to promote a bad product, as then I would not enjoy using it, not like the result on my model, and not be proud of publicizing it in a video. There's also no point in me doing this to keep up relations with a company if the only benefit would be getting more of the same products that I didn't like. I have not used every product out there, but from what I have used, I keep using the products I like, and that's why I use them in my videos. You can use whatever other products you would like to and you can feel that they are better - that is your opinion, and is perfectly fine by me, thus I hope that feeling is reciprocated.

Hello all. In case you havent noticed, my new upload schedule is at least one video per month, uploaded on the first Saturday of the month. That way you'll know when to look out for a video! If i have extra content, then I'll drop an extra bonus video in the middle of a month.

I was scratching my head when I saw the turret. Now it makes sense😊. I find hobby boss kits can be a bit of a lottery. I've done some very nice ones and some that weren't great. I like the post build format very much
@Panzermeister36
@Panzermeister36 5 месяцев назад
Cheers Mark! I've noticed the same... Many manufacturers seem to have A and B teams; one team makes great kits and then the other team doesn't have the passion to make a proper kit. Bronco was the same way, Trumpeter too occasionally.

Cheers Mick! The Chinese APCs have plenty of sub-variants and find their ways into many smaller countries. A Zimbabwean mortar carrier sounds very unique.

One of your post build reviews are worth 30,000 "quick look in the box" reviews which really tell you nothing . Love watching your builds , this is really fascinating subject . Thank you .

Chinese military content is really damn cool. I'd definitely buy a bunch if I had money at the moment. Great job with this! These models are really neat.

Thank you! I guess you are one of the other three people I mentioned who like modern Chinese armour 😁 I've bought a ZLC-2000 now as I've become interested in modern Chinese stuff after this video.

Always interesting to see/hear the process of someone else who prefers to built the lesser modelled variants. Often, the best ideas and the happiest accidents come, when there are NO aftermarket options for doing a thing and you have to improvise. Then you have a secret technique for next time. :)
@Panzermeister36
@Panzermeister36 4 месяца назад
It is probably for the best that there was no aftermarket as I would have for sure bought an expensive set and only used a few parts as always. Instead, I made the small details myself and it still looks great.

I am definitely not one of the three people Who care for modern Chinese,or any Chinese armour honestly apart from T34s,but you done a great execution on this tough and strange kit,and looks pretty damn good anyways.Thanks for the video,and can’t wait to see more strange topics! ;)

Dont seem to much work to me, but your probably right if accuracy is important also depends on price. but it looks ok to me not that i know much about chinas versions.. tbh built a few china migs and they were lets say china to the T.. had a two year rest from models so i may be talking out my hoop as i am out the loop

Although modern Chinese Armour isn't my thing (more ww2 era) I'm happy every time you put out a video. After 30 yr s away just got back into building Armour kits last year so I learn alot from your videos.

Nice job- looking forward to seeing it fully painted up. An intersting project for us intermediate modellers. I have a few HB Chinese kits in the stash ( simply because of the "weirdness factor" so I think an Eduard purchase is in order.

I just finished my T-29 U.S. heavy tank from Hobbyboss. And it was a lot like yours, the body didn't fit well, the tracks were 2/3 of the time spent building it. The result is getting to my liking, but it has taken a lot of work getting it assembled.

"One of the three people in the world that cares about modern Chinese armor" - wow what an arrogant thing to say in the first minute. Is this a new and unknown disease that is now plaguing Canadian society, trying to make China and all things Chinese bad? Shame that this type of commentary spoils what seems to be an otherwise interesting post-build video. 1 out of 10 Panzermeister36!

@@jonr6680 Wow, you really need to concentrate on why people even need to overreact by saying such nonsense as "One of the three people in the world that cares about modern Chinese armor". Kind of insulting to all of us who build Chinese armor and aviation, comrade.

Thank you for sharing. We all look forward to your videos. You would have taken a loto of time to fix the gaps. Me too, I'm building Panzer II from Academy now. That upper and lower hull are the same. I even have reviewd this kit, but I couldn't recommend it to the beginners. Well, it's part of my training, and I enjoy doing it. I'm very looking forwarf to your painting and weathering like a magic. Cheers, NOB

Thank you for your comments as always! I was recently looking at the Academy Pz II, but perhaps it is best to avoid in this case. Hamilkar Barkas tells me the Dragon Pz II is also a little bit frustating!

@Panzermeister36 thanks for uploading this video! Enjoy watching your build and post build reviews. I do have to say though that I'm far more interested in German WW2 armor but it's good to see other subjects getting love too! And lastly, don't sweat the negative comments too much. Some of us build models for a hobby, many others these days find reasons to get offended about every little thing as THEIR hobby. Must be lots of fun at parties those folks...
