I think it would be dope if you did one of these on the movie Ultraviolet. It's the wildest bad movie I have ever seen. And the lore it creates is bananas. Digging the content, all the best to y'all 🤙🏿🍻
If we're treating the child as a cat, ignoring it would work better. She would either cime running, or start destroying schit in front of her mother, in a show of defiance.😂
I recently watched this movie and holy fuck. The amount of times I stopped and said "Stop screaming for your daughter. She's obviously not answering so go find her!"
Fun fake fact, the residents of the cult had to watch all of the "God's Not Dead" movies everyday, or Kevin Sorbo would dress up as pyramid head and complain about it on twitter.
Fun (I think real) fact, the town in Silent Hill is inspired by a real town in Pennsylvania called Centralia, that is perpetually on fire due to its coal veins being set alight. It is also the town in the CKY song ‘96 Quite Bitter Beings’ I think.
@@L33tSkE3tHowever, this is only the case for the movie version of Silent Hill. The games have never been based on Centralia and have a different inspiration.
Lol at my ad break! "So, okay, here's the deal, as best I can tell, explained in my famously clear way." "Spaghetti, everywhere. White clothes, ruined." 🤣🤣🤣
Kind of makes me sad you won’t be explaining the somehow inferior sequel. But hey, as weird as this movie is, Sean Bean is the last man standing! Refreshing!
I think what really makes these videos hit the next level are the musical cues, especially the riff you use for any hardcore action scene. I assume you wrote and arranged them all given your musical background. Any chance you’ll release a video with longer or more complete versions of these riffs like the “emo riff” you had for the “Scream” video? Excellent work either way as usual Jordan. This channel is slowly becoming the biggest highlight of specific time periods of my day. Thank you.
Hey you’re right! They are all original! I’ve sort of been tossing around the idea of doing an EP or releasing my cues or something, but the first thing I’ll definitely do is write an entire song about leprechauns…
@@Drjordanbreeding well obviously - this could be your “Tommy,” “2112,” “The Wall,” or The Bee Gees version of “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band!”
At 32 and 33, you and Dave MAY not be aware, but many of the 'indestructible' Nokias of yore had an area at a top corner to secure it to a lead, or attach some little trinket to it. 🤷♂️ It wasn't much used for carrying, more for the bobbles to 'personalize' one's cellular device.
Hands down this is my favorite of the one offs you did. I'm going to have to boot that you do more of these, like in between the longer videos. I can easily watch this multiple times a day without getting tired of it.
One of my favorite movies to rag on. Excited for this one! I think the telephone pole joke is the only time I’ve heard Dave object, which made me laugh even harder. 🤣
Always felt this movie was just Sean Bean going "You want me to go to a ghost town? Hell no, I'll die! Do you even know what the internet says about me in movies?!"
I don't know. You said these kind of videos were experiments and weren't sure if they'd be liked, i hope the algorithm is kind because the last few videos have been just as hilarious. I hope you keep doing these smaller movies.
Thank you so much, I tried to watch this in the theater, and a few times since then I've started it, but for some reason I've never stayed awake through this movie.
The only prescription I need is a healthy dose of the good doctor. And seriously, the quality of this stuff is amazing. The cutaways, timing, and effects. All beautiful.
It doesn’t matter Dr. Breeding, I have watched all of your videos time and time again. I even turn off my ad-block for you. But I am not satisfied or satiated.
Please tell me where the "barbeque" clip is from. I just need it in my life....on repeat. Hmm. Maybe that's why this is the funniest thing ever and I've seen it about 8 times.
I once had the plot of the game explained to me but it did sound really cool (especially the afterlife style stuff and the doggo controlling it all) It sounds like they kept a few of the surface element features for the movie but then also missed the mark on what the whole point of the story is Which is that dogs control hell. I think
I’m actually loving these recent videos. Of course I love the long one cause it helps when I’m at work, but I’m loving these one off ones as well. Besides I just rewatch your 2-3 he vids anyways at work. Thanks guys 👍🏾
Getting a notification that jordan is doing silent hill AS SOON as I sat down to eat and look for a video to watch? Yeah that was meant to be and the universe kinda likes me apparently 😂😂💯🤌🏾🌌
I really enjoy how you were more enthusiastic to explain the movie to get out of West Virginia than you were to explain the slasher movies to avoid getting slashered.
Drove by Centralia, the town that inspired silent hill, once. Be careful where your hands go on the grounds there, as the burn zone could easily cook food still and your hands. 😅
"These extreme temperatures are typically only found underground in the furthest depths of the coal seam fire. Most surface temperatures are cooler. Though, they are still dangerously hot to the touch. Within Centralia's burn zone, steaming rocks and ground can easily measure 200 degrees Fahrenheit or higher." sorry im trying to quit smoking so im googling random stuff like crazy to keep my hands busy. 😅
I absolutely love these little one-offs it fills the void and gives me my necessary doctor medicine that I have to have in order to survive. That's clearly the case with the doctor that he is the medicine we all need otherwise how is he surviving and how is Dave surviving because of the greatness of the doctor
I live in West Virginia now and I'm here to say...laws mean nothing to them lol. Side bar, I used to live in Lancaster PA, close to Centralia which is actually burning underground and is basically abandoned and uninhabitable. Fun stuff ❤
As someone who never played the games or even knew they made a terrible movie out of them, this was so much crazier than I anticipated. Thanks, Dr. Jordan Breeding!
@@acgeewhiz mate, watch the movie not the comedy recap only. Have you never watched Pitch Meeting? He has done funny skits based on some of the best movies of all time just to prove that you can make anything sound silly in a plot recap. This movie is like Star Wars or Mad Max you can turn the sound off and it still works, the visuals were incredible for the time and aged well. Also, for a movie based on a series of games, not explicitly about one out of the original 3, it is a great adaptation that includes aspects of all the games. My only issue was Sean Bean didn't need to be there, he doesn't even die.
@@jacktadash But it’s not the best video game movie by any measures I’ve seen, and video game movies are generally rated poorly. Rotten Tomatoes has it at nearly #20 in that category. It’s sitting at 33% among critics and only 63% among fans. Some may ignore the critics score (I take it with a 15% grain of salt), but if not even two thirds of fans of the games/genre liked it, that’s telling, as I doubt a ton of randoms went to go see a horror video game adaptation and then rate it. I certainly didn’t because I generally don’t care for horror. But I’m also not rating films I don’t see. I just saw this recap and unless the good doctor somehow left out all the best parts of the writing, acting, and directing, it’s not my cup of tea. But I’m glad you like it.
You missed a random part. Where the nurse who was curious and who felt sorry for Alessa also had to spend 30 years in hell taking care of her and you could see her crying ash and blood. This movie is weird but it is scary
Don't know if anyone mentioned it before but the scene where pyramid head starts stabbing through the door they used a real blade the actors needed to actually dodge. No stunt double
Dave actively uncomfortable with the telephone pole lmao. Another time it helps to not be busty? When Pyramid Head decides to rip your skin off. They don’t get in the way of editing! 3/3 on the itty bitty titty coming in handy.
