As a small business owner who is profitable, I'll say this. It's not the money. Don't do it for the money. Do it because you hate being told what to do. Do it because you are very skilled in your field. Do it because you like to fight and play the game. Do it because you care about your self respect. Now there are several layers to that. Do you care about the business you are in or do you care about selling businesses? Either way you'll never be successful if money is your top motivator. Value, respect, power.
Finding a franchise means nothing. Location availability is the key. New franchises owner won’t be able to compete with existing franchises picking off the best locations.
@@TariqJohnson research. Unless you buy into an unknown brand. The well established brands already have rich owners who wants best new locations either through territory agreement or first picks. Only way for new potential owners to buy into a proven profitable brand say McDonalds is agree to take on a turn around location if that is even available. Dude I did my research on subway years ago. They won’t let you pick a location. They tell you what’s available. Far out location usually. They won’t let two co exist in close proximity. Yes there are profitable franchises these are impossible to get in due to waiting list that is if you find it at all.
I am still a high school student and honestly I do not have any income but one of the things that I wish to become an investor in the future and most of the investments are in franchise for restaurants and others But now I am confused because most of what I wanted to learn you mentioned is negative so what do you recommend if you want to invest in anything?
