I am thinking the same thing.. it requires a solid comprehensive then do crash coarse over and over again. I haven’t take my exam yet, I’m AGNP. what i am doing right now is doing Q&A practice exams. And I can see the difference before when I haven’t finished a comprehensive class. I went to Sarah Michelle review.. pray for me.. same as you I wanted to pass first try. Btw, Congratulations!!!
I have a cousin who never studied much, we studied together but she gives most of her time to her phone than studies after writing the AANP test last month she passed and I failed 😣, I asked her how she did it , just found out she got her help from Mrs Brenda..
Thank you for openly sharing this with us! It makes me feel better to hear about your experience. My heart goes out to you. I think in the future our certification process will change. Now you are a certified NP though! Congrats!
Thank you for this post. by just watching your post, i felt that you understood what a few of us who didn't pass maybe feeling or experiencing. I just took my AANP today and did not pass. I do feel abit lost and confused to where I should begin, yet again. I used the Leik and Cohen review. I can honestly said, similar to you, I should have spent more time to review. I studies for a total of 2.5 months. I went through most of Leik, sat through all of the Cohen review lectures and and did the majority of the exam questions that came in the book and the online with the book. I am wanting to switch gears to take the ANCC exam ... what do you think? I am too an a horrible test taker. I am so incredible disappointed in myself but at the same time angry that i did not pass it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated CONGRATS by the way!! SOOOO happy and proud of you for not giving up and coming back stronger!
It’s really personal preference on which exam to take. I can’t attest to the AANP since I never took their exam, but I did appreciate the material covered by the ANCC. I hope you were able to bounce back and pass your retake!
Hello, congratulations, i wanted to ask you about the ANCC readiness test. I was wondering if it's truly predictive of your passing chances for the NP exam. THANKS
I am sorry you were not successful the first time. I took the ANCC FNP over 7 years ago and passed the first time. I felt sick the entire time! I went to the bathroom like three times during the test. I did the Leik live review and listened to Hollier and Fitzgerald. I finished the test and thought it would show the results, the computer just shut off!! I freaked. I went out to see how I find out how I did. The lady at the desk printed something used a stamp of some type and said congratulations. That's when I found out, I passed. I almost fell to the floor. It is the most stressful thing I think I have ever been through. Congrats on passing. I know how hard that was! ETA I think they give the results in the resting room because others are taking tests and the risk of the noise if the test taker is successful or unsuccessful. I thought it was interesting they did not have a number 13!
Hi I am currently studying for ANCC boards, which i take very soon. You mentioned you did all the practice questions for the courses you purchased. did you score well on these practice tests second time around, Did you pay attention to your scores on the courses or did you focus more on rationale. some souces say that the scores you get on these full length practice tests are predictors. I am trying not to get discouraged with low scores on some due to fact i test soon and just make sure i read all rationales on the questions that i do. wondering if thats the best approach. thanks for video and congrats
Thank you, I finally passed my classes and hoping and praying to get all my docs in a row so I can start clinicals...I don't feel ready and I am scared, mostly of failing. I'm still working a full-time job and it all feels crazy---God will help me get there, but sometimes I feel like crying
Great video....bit of advice to those of you preparing to test from someone who passed miraculously...you can take as many practice questions as you want but if you can't PROBLEM SOLVE you will fail
Hello I fail my AANP and my ANCC I am so frustrated, I am going to take ANCC test again do you remember any question for the test. I am doing the edge exam question to practice you think is good, thank you
@@CMoneyRN Check out insurance companies in NY for 2 years commitment will pay off your student loan. I red about this on facebook, if you are interested just google because I do not remember the name of the company
@@CMoneyRN Please report the account @Karma Medic, they are running a scam of some sort. They start a thread under the same presence of not passing the exam and I know this because I've seen on other channels ans they they offer a name and a number of a person that can help you pass. They have provided the following names: Cynthia, Jane, Amelia. Etc.
I just failed the nurse practitioner exam. 😭😭😓 l cannot begin to articulate the level of embarrassment and heartache I'm feeling. 😢I'm confident that I'll be a good nurse. I just need to get past this, move on and persevere
Just say I haven't passed yet."Don't take it as a failure but see it as a learning opportunity. There is a lot of power in "Yet "; you are telling yourself that you will get there and that your eyes and heart are still fixed on goal.
I watched you video two months ago and let me say, Thank you!! I passed my boards July 19th on the first try! Your advice about Joanne Asia crash course was perfect! There was three questions that I would have never gotten right without going the crash course. Now, I play the waiting game for my license 🤦🏾🤣 thanks again man!!
