As long as u make an effort and progress in learning to speak Vietnamese fluently, then u have all my blessings. Also, it will make it easier for u if u plan to live in Vietnam for a long time unless u don't want to expand ur horizon n just live in the expat community. Also, if u want to get serious with a Vietnamese gf, then it can help when communicating with her family. There are also 2 other African who are popular in Vietnam n speak very fluently. True, I find lot of Vietnamese people eager to learn Vietnamese but are very shy when I ask them to practice their English with me….i tell them to practice to improve their Vietnamese but they lack the motivation to go beyond what they learn in class
21 years old that is great I'm 44 and will be moving to Vietnam, Thailand, or Phillipines soon and want a younger gf in 20's but not a woman who is always on her phone or wanting to go out drinking. You are right Asian girls usually want Asian guys but it's changing and has been changing for a while. We all see it. But at least that's the case for all races, the majority want their own kind.
