been riding for 5 months now on a 2016 fz07 and i love it man. never gets old. when I first started i was intimidated since i was on my own but forcing yourself on the bike after a couple weeks you cant get enough. ride everyday! edit: oh and I cant stress this enough man. get a tune to fix the throttle response. idk if its fixed on 2021 model but if it feels kinda like off/on switch when you're cracking the throttle, a tune can fix it. but i would suggest getting an aftermarket exhaust first after fender eliminator kit
@@AskewsLife I used a power vision 3 to tune mine but I think ppl have said with either the 2021 model or 2022 that the dynojet basic tune doesn't feel the same as earlier models. Do some research on it. I'd suggest sending your ecu out if that's the case.
Congratulations on your first Bike! :) Tip Nr.1: Don't rest your hand and use your clutch so much (shift fast and get your hand back to the bars). You have way more controll over the bike with the gears engaged. Greetings
@@BudgetDreamss two fingers is a different story as the whole hand. And if you are more expirenced you are probably only clutch when it is really needed. In this video hes clutching in way to much, in unnecessary situations. But it is a normal thing for a beginner.. but sooner he learns about that the better. as i said, in many situations you have more controll over the bike with the gears engaged
just be careful friend, having no previous experience in driving bike specially higher displacement tells me you skipped crucial smaller bike driving skills, you will learn it the longer you drive just be careful and ride safe.

i put down 500.xx on a 2022 MT-07 last 4-15 & got a text today, 7-30 that it just left Japan....i hope to get it by the start of the 2022 NFL season 9-11....i paid 9,628.xx & got the dark Blue one...i am very happy....i know it's a great bike...
Hell yeah dude! I just bought my 2021 Yamaha MT-07 Matte Raven June 11th with 2.2 miles. There and a half months later I have 3,000 miles on it!! I fuckin LOVE my MT-07!! Congrats again dude on your sexy boy
Great vid man . I am waiting to get my license and I am going MT-15 , yes it's a 150 CC Motorcycle . Right now bigger capacity MTs like MT07, MT 09 etc are not available in my country right now but is expected to come by the end of this year , But i dont have the budget . Hey man! I picked up my cyan 07 literally the same day. I highly highly recommend the yoshimura exhaust. It’s a bit on the expensive side but they don’t have the nasty rasp and rattle of m4’s. Also some TST lights. They make an integrated tail light which helps get rid of the back stuff and flush mount front turn signals. Anyways, have fun with the bike brother!
That new cyan is so good! The whole "cyberpunk japanese" theme that Yamaha is doing with the new Mt07, 09s is so cool. Just need some also cool gear to go along it

I am going to take my MSF course soon to earn my license. I was also thinking about getting an MT-07 for my first bike! congrats brother cant wait to be in your shoes!
This bike is on my list. I had an MT03 for awhile. I'm ready for the MT07. I have the money but the wife plans on spending some of it at the beach. Sigh.
i watched a video on changing the stock seat out for a Corbin.....it's a MUCH better seat....when i get my 2022 MT-07 i'll put the one i already ordered on...518.xx but well worth it
congrats to your license and your new bike. Im having the theory test tomorrow then only the driving left if everything goes fine at the test which should not be a problem. that mt07 is so freakin nice. love that color! best regards from Sweden

Ohh and u mentioned things that u should change about the bike, since I got the feeling that your a bigger dude like me by the way you described yourself with the mirrors and such. I might suggest you getting a wider handlebar as it helped me get a better/more comfortable riding position. Of course if it’s allowed by the warranty as u mentioned. Keep in mind I’m no mechanic and only you know what’s best for you so do as you please I’m just giving advice from my own experience :) Ride safe my dude:)
Yo, did Yamaha start putting Michelin Road 5 tires on these bikes? The Fz07s came with Bridgestone Battleaxe tires… trash, imho! Am currently running the Road 5 tires on my 17 fz07, love those tires!
Right on bra and nice bike. Welcome to da bikelife. I ride whenever it's not raining and dry out. Always wear my gear no matter how hot or cool weather is.
Just a little advice, before riding turn on ur bike and let it warm up for at least 3 minutes. And congratulations on the bike man i absolutely love the mt07 and I might also get it soon, please wish me luck!🤍

Congrats bro, I love the bik, its comfortable it's not the fastest bike but its fun. I ware full course gear but that was just som good enough cheap gear I bought to begin with. So if you can afford it go for something with hight quality. Anyways hope ya enjoy the bike as much as I do and rode safe
Tip: Always rotate clockwise, or against the kickstand. The way you did it you run into the chance of folding it and dripping it. Sweet bike, congrats! I have the XSR700, your sibling bike!
