Last year I had 13 cars in my fleet and now I’m down to 6. Today let's look at a few of the cars that I still own and talk about my plans for them moving forward. Will things be a bit easier now that I don't have an unnecessarily large number of vehicles in my possession? Let's find out!

Definitely the Nova. As you know my family had three of these. You do need to take off the door panels to regrease the tracks. If you don't they will bind and it will bend the tracks. We used white lithium grease. It's basically an x-scissor kind of deal with nylon wheels. They get dry and they don't roll and If left ungreased it will destroy the nylon wheels. Again, If you decide to sell the Nova Twin Cam just let me know 🙏

Get the Nova sorted and do another road trip. I have been replaying your older videos from back when you did a lot of trips (B210, Stanza Wagon, picking up the Nova, and especially the Geo GSi trip).

Definitely keep the xB running. Even at it's age, it's such a simple, practical vehicle, it will always be worth to fix. Not a car for long road trips, but for city driving, it's unbeatable.

A running 80”s nova is a holy grail by itself let alone being a twin cam. I bet there are more running tuckers then running nova twin cams.

My dad had a few 80”s novas and when one had a bad headliner he just took it out pulled the fabric off and painted it the color of the car.

My 1.6L corolla had the same problem. For me, it was a bad MAP. It also caused low power at low rpm, so it would almost die when letting off the clutch to go into first from a stop.

The Toyota dash thing is wild! My wife had a same era Lexus IS250 and the dashboard had a recall for just absolutely melting and falling apart! The previous owner never took Lexus up on the free recall with free loaner, and the recall had expired the year before we bought that car. Turns out it didn't matter as a kid in an RSX doing over 100mph rear ended her and totalled that IS out.

The Nova def deserves a new headliner, and proper interior detail. (This part def a cheap DIY with a brush drill attachment, and an extractor vac). Or better yet, make friends with a good detailer looking for some free publicity and come do the whole fleet/paint and all.

Looking good all cleaned up! Interior and a top for the Jeep sounds like the easiest thing to start with, then xB fun, and finally the little tedious projects on the Twin Cam

Good the see your cars getting washed and started in this video :) In hottest summer days here in Finland, have used windshield cover, which is actually designed for winter conditions, to save the windshield from scraping the ice, which could easily scratch the glass. Most of the day the sun shines on the front direction where I have to park, so the windshield cover shadows the interior and hopefully lowers a bit the temperature inside the car, maybe helping the plastics survive longer intact. One option of course would be to reverse in my parking spot, but too lazy for that :P Sun wouldn't shine inside the car that much from smaller rear window though. Windshield cover also doesn't rub the paint like full car cover, but mine may rub the A-pillar paint, as it locks into place with flaps, that go inside the car from door frame (hope that makes sense). Have seen also windshield covers with magnets, but I don't trust them, wind might catch it, possibly damaging the car, and surrounding cars while flying away.

Hey Glenn! Unfortunately many times press cars get garage priority, but the garage often switches off between the Nova and the Scion. :)

As the Jeep is an occasional driver, I'd clean up the mechanical bits, paint the floors while addressing any corrosion, strip most electronic creature comforts, and install weatherproof seats. Back to basics is the best way to enjoy a Jeep

Sounds like you're keeping the Jeep! I wouldnt bother with the rear seat (or the carpeting), I think it could be a useful beat-up "mini truck" for hauling random things. BTW I might buy the VTOMAN, been looking to get one anyways and this is good excuse to pull the trigger through your affiliate link. Also I love how the gray version looks like an 80's cassette deck!

wow, having so many cars must be hard for your bank account :D i just took my only car to the shop today to let them do a brake fluid change and refuel the ac system, something i did not do for 4/5years. i paid 147€ but the engine still leaks oil, i need new winter tires and it also needs TÜV in october.... so yeah having one car is expensive enough for me :D

The original stereo that I found in the junkyard is AM/FM only. But you're right, maybe I could try to find one with a cassette player :)

Nooooooooo! Sigh, goodbye Ford Probe aka Purple Reign. You will be missed. At least the Chevy Nova isn't going anywhere. LOL, I see you treat User Manuals the same way I do. I toss them aside until I get desperate at a later date. I'd repaint the Nova if the budget allows. It is a sharp little classic.

Gosh you should move to Alabama here you can get vintage license plates get stopped you simply say you're going to get gas then they have to let you go with no ticket I only keep two maybe three batteries and only use them in the three cars I keep on my insurance of my 30 cars if they push an Eevee agenda gasoline cars are going to become extremely valuable on their value is going to go way up because people are going to fight the EV cars in Alabama you can remove the emissions from all cars and not have to ever worry about a vehicle inspection. Nobody's going to steal what's not there.
