You add a lot of editing and effects on your on-foot and it’s really irritating when I’m trying to get a good look of the shoe on foot .

Just bought my first J's in 9 years. Last pair I had were the Alpha 1s with similar color way back in high school. Gonna be my first time ever painting shoes but this looks like the perfect starter mission!

just want to say: angelus flat black leather paint...is PERFECT! you dont even need the deglazer or preparer or whatever. when dry...the angelus paint is exactly the same as the black leather on the mids. LITERALLY 20mins TOPS even kindergarten kids can do this!!🙏🏼 Respect to Beastly Garage for the dope vid. 🙌💯

Thankful they made it easier for us to convert these into 🔥🔥🔥 bred grails by simply painting that red eyelet section. Finally I can cop my grails without the crazy resale price 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Vid was good but if possible next time you do on foot do you mind just making it clear for us to see. The jumping flipping and special effects kinda killed the on foot. Other then that great work man

bro can u do the air jordan 1 mid union black toes and change them into the actual jordan 1 high unions, like change the color of the heel place (around the logo) to a more greyish color etc. would really love that! keep up the good work

I sold my 2016 breds last year for $300 in great condition not thinkin they would go up so high a year later so I had to kop these today at WSS for retail I got angelus brushes and black nut its glossy so about to order the matte black and bust it, great review man

I did this custom but also ordered the tounge tag for it as well with the Nike air on it and they look amazing I’m just worried the paint will crack or something at some point.. prepped the areas did 3 or 4 coats and used matte finisher

This might be the only mid I would get because of that one panel. I don’t like mids and I don’t like customs. But I would have no probably coloring that black in. + in 85 Jordan wore a more mid top Jordan 1 and the 2001/2013 version were more mid like

I sprayed too much Krylon Matte finisher on mine. Looks like the side of the shoe is bleeding it. Any suggestions on how to remove excess krylon?

Not sure. You may just have to live with it. Finisher isn’t really needed.

I’d get an angulus deglazer, apply, followed by angulus flat black leather paint, followed by a krylon matte finish spray coat to prevent cracking...then you’re good to go!

I have to find a spot to try on some lows to say for sure that I don’t like them. I’m not going to be an asshole and say I don’t like them just because when I haven’t tried them on. I tried on the bred mids. They weren’t bad. My only gripe was the leather. But mids aren’t bad...
