@@parkburrets4054 I retired from Dow, there was a Dow Fishing Club established at Harris. Lots of crappie, bass, catfish, etc. And gators, snakes, turtles, tons of blue crabs, etc.

Try working the radios, and you can not take your hand off and drink you water when you want to.

I don't have actual data on it but the pants I believe only get me around 3 miles per hour extra. I probably save a couple of gallons of gas every 5 hours by having them on there. Not a huge gain but better than nothing.

@FlywithKay I noticed a lot of shots of the wheel pants in the video. They look real sharp. I've always thought Piper had the best-looking wheel pants out there. 🙄

It’s not really bumpier over water. The bumpiness comes from the change in the air. Air over land tends to rise because land is warmer than water, usually. Hot air rises. Air over water sinks because cool air is heavier. So, when you’re over land flying through rising air, then fly into sinking air over water, you’re likely to encounter a little turbulence in the transition.

I used to be like that. I always said the ONLY way you'd get me on a plane is with a parachute strapped to my back, another to my chest, and a third on my lap, just in case the other 2 failed.... Until I took my first commercial flight scouting out a new home for my family (Detroit to Omaha) from then till 911 all I wanted to do was fly, still do just don't like the TSA stuff.

Thank you! Go and do an intro flight and see if you like it. It only takes about two to three flights to start getting comfortable.

I don't have to do that on a VFR flight. If I had of been on an instrument flight plan, I'd have to ask ATC to go higher! :)

Unfortunately the 11 mini's are terrible. Hard to keep them running, constant reboots, they overheat in about 15 minutes and shut off! It's been a struggle.

@@FlyWithKay that’s bad! I quit updating my gp’s at the 9 and don’t seem to have any problems. Also own dji but seems like the footage just isn’t as sharp even after playing with the settings a lot. Suggestions for $100 3T0. Cedar mills. Grass strip T82. Gillespie county. Hangar Hotel diner KWDG enid ok. Barnstormers. M-F only 7am-2pm KPNC - Enrique’s Mexican closed Sunday’s 1k1. Hi, thank you so much, I’m so glad! Most of the radio calls that are hard to hear are between ATC and another aircraft so I have them turned down. Is that what you mean, or are the radio calls I’m making too quiet?? I’d love to know!!

@@FlyWithKay I couldn’t hear the ones between you and arc. I have since watched some of your other videos. The music in those were more background level and was easily ignored. The effect I enjoy is where someone nice is taking me on a trip in their plane. If the music is too loud it gets in the way for me. I subscribed and have been binging your videos lately. I like planes and aircraft operations but don’t fly myself. Great job. Hope you continue.
