This is actually my very first attempt at editing video. It was filmed on a vacation we took back in 2004. It has terrible audio but was great fun when filming. One thing I'd like to point out is as we took off an eagle flew under the planes. Upon landing we learn the eagle was carrying a fish. It was so startled it dropped it on the runway. As we exit the glider a man walks up holding the trout.

Thanks for the ride along. Now you should try a tandem paramotor also known as PPG (powererd paraglider). Nick named a flying lawn chair or but fan, lol. They are a blast.

Gliders are the best. Daughters just took their first flights in the CAP glider program. I might go back and instruct for them.

Breathe taking. I just kept thinking Mountains and airplanes do not make a good match. A moving object versus an unmoveable object. Question why do the mountains look like volcanos. 2 of them?

Glider port is now closed, I think it closed before the 2019 event. I wanted to take a ride but I am too tall and too heavy.

Answer me this Stan. Why in the heck didn’t you use the Insta360? That would’ve been the perfect camera for this. As for that turbulence, it really wasn’t all that much. I have experienced a whole lot more. That was mild.

I filmed this in 2004 with a camcorder. 360s weren't invented back then. This is an old video I made way back then. The reason I posted it was I talked about it in the previous video.
