I didn't realize I forgot a little something on the 71 New Yorker. Just a belt tensioner was missing is all. No biggie right? I mean who needs a belt tensioner haha! We will fix that right here, right now. Perfect
Good ole Mopars when I was a young man back in the 70's I had a couple of 72 Plymouth Fury....alternators went out every couple years or so but they were 10 bucks plus the core to replace. The good ole days. Easy to change out too.
The cell phone video was Ok though the super-tight working space made for a difficult watch which is unusual for the Swede. The disco soundtrack saved the day!
The fan mount was slotted so you could start the bolt and then slide the fan in... but that's only good for one bolt... what a complicated belt system... no wonder the PO didn't know what's going on...
Clutch fans are awesome because they basically never break, but working around them is always a nightmare, sharp edges and no room due to the shroud. Reinstalling the fan is such a pain in my Mercury I just snake the belt over the fan so I don't have to remove it.
Oh yeah that’s too high. 14.6v is the perfect number. If it’s an older dodge it might be just the external regulator if it has one. You know the alternator works good haha. Either bad regulator or bad battery/wire contacts is my 1st guess👍🏼
Hi Chris! You ask "why are you guys still watching my channel?" I shan't answer for my fellow viewers, as that would be just presumptuous and rude, but as for me, I am drawn to your brand of madness as I too am a fanatical gearhead with a diseased wit. By the way, I am playing catch up on your videos as I have been sick and away. Thanks for the great content.
