it's also just a good move in general out of disadvantage (by dk standards at least) and in advantage.. not so great in neutral but i don't think he was really "fishing" for anything. most top players don't make it obvious what they're fishing for

I think it was more of a defensive thing, cause he was camping platforms, especially top, while doing it, probably cause of how disjointed it is, and it makes him have to deal with the awful parts of the matchup a little less

I ask cuz I’ve never really lost to friends in my area or when I went to Florida and they all thought they were good. They were crying I was god tier and I was like nah, I lost in a tourney round one cuz I didn’t know Smash was so competitive and my classmates begged me to join. I mean I had fun and i was glad to actually lose. Do you know what it’s like sandbagging all the time??? That’s why I hadn’t played in years!
